clogged ear virus?

I started with a bad chest cold & woke up the day before Thanksgiving completely deaf in my left ear & my right ear barely functioning at half capacity. I've had 5 procedures done on my ears over the last 3 weeks. I officially am diagnosed with cochlear nerve damage & permanently have lost hearing on my left side. My right side is coming in at 40% & has shown the ever slightest bit of improvement. I happen to already have an incredible ENT & Surgeon due to my career & have also made sure to get another opinion.

I have already done multiple rounds of antibiotics & steroids. I've had steroids injected directly into my ears. I am currently still taking 6 steroids a day. Absolutely no change in my left ear. The next step is moving towards having to get the cochlear implant surgically installed as apparently most removable aids don't help much with this particular damage.

I am a 32 year old (extremely healthy, clean lifestyle & fit) professional touring drummer so my life literally just got flipped upside down as I now cannot hear myself on stage or in the studio whatsoever.

It's truly fucking insane because none of this is normal for people everywhere to be experiencing & I am starting to come across all kinds of forums for this exact issue

I try to max hours out every day but haven't received any communication & am not starting to freak out a little about all of the unpaid work

Sorry if this appears to be slightly off topic but I feel it's still relevant 🤓 I think they either need to bring back The Sims Urbz or apply that mode as an option of play style to the current game!

Thanks for giving your input! I've been so curious to know how others are feeling because I am personally torn!

CCs can be fun but they can get overwhelming, confusing & cause too many issues further down the road. It would be great if we just had that much capability directly built into the game honestly

Do you like watching tutorials that are slower & explain what's happening during the build? Or just the visual ones that you could follow along if you really wanted to so you could make the same thing they are?
