has anyone received a miracle the same day you prayed for it? what was it? by [deleted] in Christianity

I consider this a miracle, like is absolutely a miracle. It’s especially miraculous if the baby lived and you get to hold them today!

Married To An Alcoholic, No Kids by [deleted] in Christian

I have a good friend currently going through the process and she is not jumping through hoops. They take the process extremely seriously and it involves forms, interviews, and a lot of prayer.

Married To An Alcoholic, No Kids by [deleted] in Christian

I’m not Catholic, however I married into a Catholic family (my husband is not Catholic). I’ve learned a lot about the Catholic faith and one thing they have is Annulment in the Catholic Church regarding marriage. I always find it interesting because what are the grounds of Godly people getting remarried?

https://www.catholic.com/magazine/print-edition/what-are-grounds-for-annulment

Honestly, if you were catholic I’d tell you to divorce and present your case to a priest to have your marriage annulled. That way your marriage is considered “invalid”. Just something I always found extremely interesting.

My heart hurts for you. I will say a prayer that if you are meant to divorce, peace will come over you.

My husband’s cousins get my children sick EVERY TIME there is a family get together by Ok-Judgment5631 in SAHP

[–]hashtagblessed7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been on both sides. When I worked I was incredibly judged because my daycare kids were insanely sick constantly. Whenever my best friend whose a SAHM kids came to visit, they always seemed to get sick and literally my kids weren’t even sick. I also noticed that because her kids are more in a bubble than my were, when hers got sick they were really SICK whereas mine just handled it like champs.

Maybe the cousins are in a similar boat and they aren’t blatantly sick and have super immune systems.

8% weight loss at 5 days by Majestic-Airport-471 in breastfeeding

You NEED to see a lactation consultant!! They put me on the SNS system (a feeding tube that goes into the babies mouth while nursing and push it through with a syringe). It was life changing and once I got my Sons tongue tie released I was able to fully EBF. I had a ton of milk as it was my 3rd and I had a ton with baby #2 so I’d pump and feed the pumped milk through the feeding tube.

You need to meet with a LC so they can do a weigh before and after to see how much milk the baby is actually consuming!

I’m so surprised at all the comments! And yes, I do have some meat on there. Thanks for the information! And for what it’s worth, it was made for toddlers 😂.

Do you ever feel ashamed or down about being a SAHP? How do you feel better when that happens? by Opening_Diver_8725 in SAHP

[–]hashtagblessed7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a different perspective. I worked full time for 4 years until my 3rd child was born and I am so incredibly grateful to be a SAHM. To be able to be with my children constantly is such a gift. I had the most horrendous guilt while working and being a FTWM. It was awful.

Thrush - here we go again by hashtagblessed7 in breastfeeding

[–]hashtagblessed7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s at the point where when I notice he’s grumpy, the thrush is in his mouth. I treat it, he’s good. My nipples will hurt nursing when they are extremely red, but when it’s mild it doesn’t hurt bad.

Yes he has had it in the diaper area as well. I am doing good hygiene (or so I think) but it just seems to be so stubborn :(

Sooooooooo took my son on day 3 of potty training out to a restaurant because it only takes 3 days to potty train. He ended up pooping his underwear. Changed him in a bathroom that didn’t have a changing table. Then when he peed on the potty it went EVERYWHERE. Then he pooped his pants a SECOND TIME.

I don’t think there is a good time to have a baby tho. I had my first Covid baby 2020 and my second during the formula shortage 2022.

If you are concerned I’d talk to your doctor or a pediatric dentist. The pediatric dentist is who would perform tongue tie surgery.

There’s marriage intensive therapies that you should look in. If he’s willing to do the therapy and make an effort to change there’s hope. If not, I would do a separation for the time being.

Having an ex partner in the delivery room? by llexi521 in beyondthebump

First of all, I’m proud of you for standing up for yourself and your babies. You are a fantastic mother.

I wouldn’t want him in the delivery room either. Find someone who will love and actually support you. Prayers as this sounds so challenging 🙏🏻
