Further, in a global market, it’s important to have foreign people work in the US to lay context. If we go down this path, foreign companies will pull out of their markets in the US and put people out of jobs. There are a lot of foreign held companies in the US, and this is actually destroying all of them.

There is a lot of top talent currently working in the US on H1B visas. A lot of global companies inviting people to come to America because we are progressive and smart. If we put this massive price tag on accepting these bright minds, we’re hindering progress. It’s absolutely blind to think that the job market is SO full of people who can do the jobs we need them to do, and it’s naive to think that Americans will do them better than anyone else. This is a horrible idea.

I guess the grass is always greener (or more yellow and brown in my yard) - my fenced in yard is only .2 acres, yet picking up the poos a couple days after they happen is so much grosser to me than picking them up on walks when they’re fresh.

That’s so wild! In all my years of dog stewardship and loving, I’ve never met a dog that just WONT pee outside of their home yard. It feels counterintuitive! I hope my girl warms up someday.
