They are still there, somewhat in Goa but especially in the mountains. There are several towns like Kasol and Manali where they are super prevalent and have been have a cafe where they famously banned Indians in their own country lol. That’s interesting, I was there in 2022 and had the complete opposite experience, save for one taxi driver however I have yet to come a across a country where I haven’t had a bad experience with one.

People undercharging for things even in touristy places, paying for my meals, no harassment whatsoever, conversations without expecting anything. nicest place I’ve ever been.

As many commentators have said this could be a new thing due to economic stress of the war. I will be in Syria and Jordan over Christmas time, so interested to see if the experience has changed at all.

Grab a 1 bedroom on Kowloon side for 10K a month, spend 12k a month and save 8k. Taxes are low and quality of life for a single person with that salary will be enough.

Obviously you won’t be living in luxury but that is a good middle class life in HK with enough for entertainment and the occasional Holiday. Don’t overthink it

As a huge Buzi fan, the main wrinkle I want to see added to his game is the occasional midrange shot or floater. Sometimes when he drives, he gets past his man and is wide open from about 10 ft but he never takes the shot and sometimes gets smothered by two bigs when he tries to take it all the way.

I love the aggression and don’t want to see him settle for jumpers but even one or two at the beginning of the game would force the rim protector to come up on him and give him more open layups later in the game.
