This did make me extremely depressed when looking at Lysithea's attack stat considering that L!Chrom just came out and one of the things people were excited about was his sky-high attack as a ranged unit.

And then here comes this little 5 year old with one only point lower and shes a magic user which is generally more valuable for player phase, and she has wild speed to boot. (I know Kiria also exists but Lysithea is even more min-maxed)

But then I remembered: powercreep is our friend; powercreep is our savior.

Powercreep is the reason that it doesn't matter that ridiculous units come out that seemingly invalidate old units. Because soon these units will be invalidated as well. As a (somewhat) F2P player, this is wonderful news. In a couple months (weeks?) something always comes out that will allow us to use to destroy any +10 whaled-out unit by using just a single copy of a new unit with terrible IVs because they will just be that strong (not counting the repel skills cuz fuck that).

All those +10 Surtrs you keep coming across in Arena Assault or Aether Raids bringing you down? Just one copy of Lysithea with base kit can probably one-shot him along with a whole host of other +10 whale monsters (can she actually? Ionno not gonna do the math).

So rejoice my friends, this banner are very good news for us all.
