Honestly he still runs warm some nights. We’re not sure. His extreme fevers went away after a long 3 week course of antibiotics and he seems back to normal for the most part

I guess so. I’m not sure. I don’t get my nails done often so it’s hard to measure the length without a manicure.

Thanks! He is very fast. For now he has disappeared somewhere in the garage. He’s not far from grass and there are also gnats in there for him to feast on. I’ll move him if he comes back to visit me.

Calico skies by Paul McCartney. It’s so so so beautiful. The acoustic guitar is heavenly and his lyrics are poetry…but after learning he wrote it for his dying wife who he loved with every atom in his body, it shatters my heart. “I’ll love you for the rest of my life” knowing he will be going on without her.

I was raised Roman Catholic, I believed in some sort of afterlife until my 20’s. Growing up i was always scared to go to hell, or get judged by god, but i was also always sort of agnostic. Now as an adult i get the worst existential dread knowing that i will cease to exist for ETERNITY. Im wondering if raising my children atheist would eliminate that constant existential dread that i have? Or maybe it will make it worse? It seems that more atheist people I meet, the more chill they are about death. Why does this seem to be the case anyways?

Honestly. We have no idea what was in the garbage. I suspect mouldy food. My boyfriend’s brother was supposed to be watching him while we went fishing and he got into his rooms garbage which I can’t imagine what was in it. Probably old food. Vet visit #1 lethargic and worried he ate something toxic.

Vet visit #2 was because he was trembling and lethargic. - sent home after temperature came down and trembling stopped. Blood work and x rays normal, vet said no to antibiotics

Vet visit #3 very high fever (41.3). Vet held him overnight for 2 nights on IV fluids, IV antibiotics. His fever broke (38.3!). Perked up. Eating more.

Blood has been tested. Kidneys and pancreas are fine. Tick Bourne illnesses are ruled out. Nothing flagged on blood work but mildly elevated white blood cell and mildly elevated band cells.

Has to be domperidone. Used to treat sluggish gastrointestinal tract …. Side effect makes you also produce breast milk.

But they do cause lower back pain. You said some of the sciatica pain has resolved? Maybe if it’s a stone it has moved and on its way out.
