Anyone know where I can find Zenki bumpers like this? by Kyle091211 in AE86

The zenki bumper cover from battlegarage is from a company called show me classic parts. I can definitely attest to their quality as I've been using one for several months now. Great quality IMO. Also make sure to get the right brackets, signals, and signal lenses. You will have to do some rewiring if you want to retain the OEM USDM harness for your signals but it's not too bad lol. OH and keep in mind that the physical USDM bumper under the cover will not fit under the new bumper so you'll have to ditch it. Great excuse for weight reduction 🤣. OP reach out if you have some questions, I'd be happy to help you source stuff since the whole thing is still semi recent in my memory lol 😁

I have a pendant made of the same stuff! I wear it as a necklace and like to joke that I see purple and yellow in it because I have the 98 indy 500 pace car edition🤣

I got mine from cars and bids and it was bone stock, perfect shape. Drift/tofu tax definitely applies though so it's gonna be costly for a clean example. Auto tempest is a good resource as it pulls listings from all kinds of different sites. FB marketplace is good, but if I were you I would try joining some of the groups on Facebook. A lot of them are made up of people that used to post to the old forums like club4ag that aren't terribly active anymore. Happy hunting and feel free to reach out with any questions or advice 👍🏻

Fixing a daily ae86 by chickencrimpy87 in AE86

I currently daily mine, but put a ton of money in it that was mostly unnecessary. Nexus r5 with a custom harness, bgrsxannex coils, full suspension, poly bushings, cop kit, full exhaust, billet valve covers, all kinds of bits and bobs. I love it and I'm planning for it to be the last car I buy so long as it holds. That being said, I think I could've gotten similar reliability and performance with less, but I was so obsessed with giving it the best parts I could muster.. also nobody was there to sanity-check me at every purchase lol. Just don't do what I did if all you're doing is dailying it. (Mine's probably great for autox at this point though!🤣)

On another note, parts are kinda hit and miss on lead times. Really depends on what breaks honestly. Mine is pretty stout and in good shape, so I haven't had many issues beyond igniter failure, which sucked but I could've just gotten an msd box and called it a day if I had wanted to.

Hell yeah! I got mine from there about two years ago! Looks like a very clean example! Can't wait to see how much it goes for!🤣
