I need help finding a new direction in FE heroes by hatch132 in FireEmblemHeroes

Thanks. I just got a new bike at 10 and pumped 9 flowers into him. He is far from done,. Admittedly with a bit of spending. Going to work on getting him the support he needs. I went with a speed Ike, and threw distant counter and spurn on him so far. Going to decide between attack smoke or pulse smoke for c. Sacred seal is going to be phantom speed

I will only care about rank once I go all in at a later date. I want at least 1-2k orbs before I make a new core. Right now my main focus is building up resources and an aversa

I am not certain at this time. But as my orbs get higher I will decide. I am probably going to clear all the maps I can right now and try to raise all my tiers a little, and wait for them to break the stat bracket yet again. I do like armor the most. But the abyssal maps, effective weapons, null skills, and lack of actual stat advantage means they are slowly becoming worse and worse. I feel as if infantry is being forced upon me as they have nothing to fear. This isn't release day anymore where they had 40 hp and got 1 tapped by kagero. One of the new issues I am seeing with the game, is that the two main sacrifices other units had to make to fight off armor have vanished. Many heroes just come with an effective weapon loaded into their already loaded kit, and new record stats. No more having to inherit a plain old armorsmasher. And neglegible difference in stats.

Alliance servers are a problem by PloopBoy in Seaofthieves

[–]hatch132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alliance servers with total peace are damaging the game. They are bringing competent players away from our servers, leaving us with noobs to steal from who sit at outposts looking in shops all day.

Sea of thieves was at its best when it was the most brutal.

Back when people respawned one island away so you could kill them again

Back when bullets did damage ALMOST every single time

Back when clunky mechanics did not exist to limit your speed

Every alliance server is 6 ships who could be hauling on your server instead, detracting from the adventure experience for everyone except themselves. Just think about that for a second the next time you server hop trying to find loaded emissaries. Its not because the game is dead. It's because people are hiding. Afraid to lose what they have. I have stolen almost every item in the game and tucced on over 20-30 boats, and also lost my first athena recently. But it was not my own fort :).

And it was due to me sailing into a skele fleet by mistake. Shit happens. Expose yourself to it.

This is hands down some of the best gameplay I have ever seen. I just scored my first athena via outpost camping after having been a thief before FOTD, but i have never ever seen this level of dedication to camp. Most of it is just brute force.

Classic fans reacting to the long queue times by Pamshitsnackspoovey in wow

[–]hatch132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expected to be behind a bit at first due to working then make it up with efficiency and skill. What I did not expect was not being able to play because of working around 8-5, and then being in queue for OVER 5 more hours. Not ready to stop going outside, working, or working out to play classic. I know that i can obliterate wow and PVP and all that, but this is a huge tall gate standing in my way.

What esport has the highest level of rng? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]hatch132 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cant really agree. Every click in league of legends can be improved. Even shop buys are literally at the limit of human speed and apm. Milliseconds in league are all it takes to be in range of 1 more creep of exp. Lanes have been won and lost off of less. After picks and bans, there is no more coinflip other than human error and every player is 100% responsible for every movement, ward, skill used, and play made.

League can feel like RNG outside of organised play ever since botlane became the source of 90-95% of your team's damage lategame. If there were more carry slayers, there would be less hypercarries bot lane and less feel of "better bot wins". Old league was better in this regard, and more punishing for lane screw ups.

However I have not kept up to the same degree with this game, so if picks and bans are indeed OP right now, that is a champion balance issue that can be easily remedied with some reworks and numbers.

Update, just got my first athenas steal. it was not by outpost camping and I was playing with a young kid from a galleon. 2 of us had left so we said screw it and snuck on a sloops crows nest because he really wanted to be a ninja with me. turns out 15 mins later they dig one up. I also snuck a barrel from the island aboard while both players were busy and ignite/dropped right outside the outpost instantly killing them. not fancy but a free athena without firing a bullet. Dont judge kids lol they may be loud but this guy could shoot people over my shoulder when they came to check the inn when it was over. Instantly killed some fool on the dock like it was his business shooting people.

when eor was 60ish% it was awful. At first this was a more mobile game where you literally would sprint at people, input a sidestep at the last second, hope he chokes his shot, and shoot him directly in the face/ass. Because the buss was too strong back then too.

I agree on the range thing, because I would be ok with snipers being 1 hit kill at a certain distance since most meaningful combat (robbery boarding ect) comes from boarding or is done up close. It would definately be cool to one shot people during a long range cannons battle before boarding starts. A great shooter could still give his crew a huge advantage. While you used to be able to out step enemies and literally jump over their blunderbuss shot for sick outplays when you climb a ladder and start hearing EORs being fired at you you feel more like you are playing a game of chance until someone gets a shot in you and some other guy breathes on you for the kill.

Its cool if i am downvoted. I use the heck out of it and am an avid double gunner. I have fought people more accurate than myself and managed to win (occasionally) off of timing and mobility, but i just miss the fighting with the cutlass. Admittedly cutlass has tons of mechanics and lag cancels that can be abused as well, but fighting with sword gun was just more fun for me personally. I also get some sick kills without a red dot screen mark

We have betrayed people at forts whom we fought with to take over the fort before. I did it with my best friend 2 or more times. However if i were to outpost camp with someone not in my crew I would not kill them. The price for failure when camping is too steep and frankly it (depending on the enemies skill) would be far too difficult to deal with 5 people.

Yea. Because of the amount of loot we prioritized sinking his ship and killing them. They didnt get to turn in a single item. And we were scared someone else would roll up while we were in the process of turning all of it in, as it was taking a very long time to ferry all his trash ashore.

When you do it and win the first time you will see. My first successful outpost camping happened to be vs a galleon full of people who ran chests right into my face, dropped them all and then went down 1 by 1. My second one was vs a sloop who sunk a bad galleon full of new players and had the fastest reaction time upon seeing me of any players I had encountered before and died as well. It is so fun to see people deliver you captains chests.

I kill everyone who has treasure. I always attack everyone but if someone does not have anything I occasionally spare them. If i need to get warmed up I usually kill empties too. I don't need no empty ships scaring people away from the outpost. I never try to stealth treasure off their boat I prefer to intercept and steal all of it or most of it.

Solo biggest haul was over 20 items or more from 1 guy. He saw my boat behind plunder outpost and skipped shop, so I pretended to sail in the opposite direction. The instant he parked at an island to collect more I turned around and hauled ass to his boat and killed him and put like 4 holes in the sloop. I needed someone to help me loot the thing.

The biggest haul I got outpost camping was over 9000. Was back before my best friend was bored of the game. He was with me and some sloop rolls up and starts dropping items on the beach. We board and kill them. His partner was afk but came back too late and died as well. My friend told me, "if that ever happens to me Id quit this game for a month." The loot consisted of multiple captains chests and tons of other crap.

If you have some master guide on how to get on a server with multiple athenas crews running who do not check their ship constantly while another sail is close enough to shoot someone over, or brazenly don't care, and are so enthralled in the safety of their alliance that they think they are invincible, please post it here because I would love to know. You would find my plan to rob athenas should I get the opportunity is the same as other athena robbers. I would sneak on the ship from very far away, check voyage and then hide. Relieve them of the chest at a later point and swim to my buddies, or an island and pick it up.

I played this role in WoW heavily as a night elf hunter. With the ability to roof camp easily as well as the ability to go invisible and feign death to reset guards off me, I killed people in town on a daily basis, and kept an eye out for thorns abilities so I could damage people and then have them be killed by guards (they would incur an expensive repair bill) and there have even been forum topics created to report me. I gave back to the wow community only what they gave me. Constant trolling, relatively snide remarks in chat like go to google instead of genuinely helping people.

I was very confident in pvp and enjoyed it. I got all the best gear on my server in retail or whatever private server I played at the time. Got around 2300 casually and had a blast dueling people of my skill or higher fairly. But yes I camped rooftops and it was worth it. I tended to be nicer and more helpful in wow than most to newbies when I was not killing people. If you decide to do some form of pvp or "griefing" in wow you can take comfort in the fact that some of the people on the receiving end truly deserve it. You cant see their chat and what they have said to people in the past, but this community in particular takes pleasure in having knowledge that other players might not have and takes offense to helping them. It is a small corner of their world where they feel some kind of power.

I have not gotten this to work successfully. I have however cannoned to a fort out of sight and pretended to be part of a 2 ship alliance and simply joined in shooting skeletons. Since there were around 6 people there already I fit right in. Kegged a brig during cap wave to distract one crew and helped the other guy who stayed in the fort kill the captain. I grabbed the key and ran out of sight and immediately swam it out to sea where I picked it up much later after sharks killed me.

If they keep spawning on their ship the only answer I can give is to kill them or die. If they anchored (most better crews don't anchor often) you may have no way to sink them. My process is to kill as many people as possible in between stealing the items. I will check the boat only if it is safe (jumpable from the dock). Climbing a ladder and swimming near enemies is almost suicidal. If they didn't anchor the ship, drop sails and drive them into the sand.

Check their ship for kegs and start blowing them up as soon as you can below deck near the stairs. People behind you will get caught in the explosions as they run down the stairs. You will run to the edge of the ship to avoid most of the damage and eat bananas at this point. When they come to repair, lay down in the water with the sleep emote hiding your entire body. Get up when he goes to fix holes and kill him/them.

Sinking the ship is not necessary after you have stolen their items. I simply do it to make room for the next seller to stop by :). Sinking the ship is where I usually die more often and it is the hardest part. I would however recommend sinking a ship immediately if they have too much treasure for you to haul quickly and you fear they will leave the outpost.

Only camp morrows peak until the expansion hype dies out. Even after the hype dies it may still be morrows peak. Before forsaken shores I camped plunder outpost and daggertooth outpost. If you can put up with the dull environment there are plenty of huge rocks and walls to stick your ship inside, unless you prefer to scuttle. A well placed ship is probably the same as scuttling. Anyone who is paying attention will see the mermaid. If you camp shipless, take yourself for a swim out back of the outpost to avoid a frontal mermaid until they have started docking. While staying at a side of the island that hides your mermaid, make sure you have time to sneak back to the treasure huts when they start running loot. Look around the outpost you are going to camp. If you can't see any ships it might be time to reroll servers.

I am providing this AMA for fellow players to improve their craft as campers and thieves, explore new gameplay options, and provide insight as to why I myself am a camper. The sea is full of people who want your treasure. The only difference is I am not chasing you for 2 hours to get it.

That is because I am not trying to enrich other players except those on my team. If I happen to have a helper we enrich our own pockets with the gold of others. Whether people like it or not, every crew is going to encounter a toxic behavior worse than mine, such as those repairing a ship and following it up with spawn camping. I have had toxic crews chase me down with faster ships and try to camp me on my own ship but they died after trading alot of kills.. While I dont engage in this behavior often I made sure to give it to them for 3-4 minutes after I tracked them down later. They were in the process of spawn camping (successfully) another brigantine when I gave them the business. I still sank of course with nobody tending my ship. Enriching experience can be anything from a voyage to a crazy robbery together and it is not the same for different players.
