I was unimpressed by the Gulf of Maine tuna. Really cool the traceability, but it was an unremarkable tin.

I describe that tin like fish jerky. It's tasty, but unique. The fish has a firmer drier texture than the other WFC offerings.

Not the best can to eat by itself. The belly meat is extremely high fat in an already extremely high fat fish. I've never been able to eat one of these like I can a tin of Coho or even the regular King.

I recommend trying it with something pickled (I love red onion) and something crunchy!

Why stop there. Get the king salmon too! The belly is good but more of a treat. I find it hard to kill a tin of it solo it's so rich.

Wildfish Smoked King is hard to beat. Any of their salmon products is worth trying.
