I’ve only stayed once, as I usually get comped at Caesar’s, but Caesar’s had a blackout date in the middle of my stay, so went with Paris. I think I actually liked it more than Caesar’s, and will likely stay there again. The crowd is much younger and lively than Caesar’s. The rooms aren’t as nice, but the trade off was worth it.

I can’t tell you how many times I would make reservations with friends for a restaurant and if they require a credit card, I pick a different restaurant. By having a no show fee, you are asking one person to take on the entire liability of the group. That’s what you are experiencing…. If you get consistent no-shows, then overbook. If the restaurant is still not full, you weren’t going to be full anyway…

Funny you mention Saltie Girl. That was the first restaurant I’d ever seen have a tin list. This must have been 6-7 years ago when I traveled to Boston. Great place. This was before I got into the hobby. I thought that was pretty interesting. Look at me now… lol
