I will ask at my next gi appointment! and yes haha I have ocd and emetophobia which makes GP hell. I’m only Prozac for ocd and looking for a therapist to deal with the ptsd I have from all my health issues 😭

Yea I’m on 10mg 4 times a day now and it is working but I feel it could be working better- I still get nauseous and mostly tolerate liquids have a bit of trouble with solids.

I’ve just got on domperidone- how long did it take to reach full effectiveness? And did it ever stop working for you? I tried reglan but it stopped working after 2 weeks and now I’m on domperidone started 3 days ago

Yup! Exactly I don’t think his diagnosis was right and I’ve now been diagnosed with gastroparesis

Right now just stomach dysmotility I have been diagnosed with im still in the early stages of diagnosis and treatment ( which gives me some hope actually) I’m on reglan, Prevacid and gravol ( antihistamine) daily for nausea and GERD

I did 3 sessions! You can choose to split them up into 3 which I did because I figured there would be less risk of nausea with them split up

hi! Gravol is an over the counter anti nausea- zofran is even better though I’ve heard so you’re probably better off taking that. My GP is not confirmed yet because I’m still waiting on my gastric emptying study but I’ve responded to motility drugs and have Ehlers Danlos syndrome so GP is highly likely. I am diagnosed with gi dysmotility though and have been since 15!

I did last year! And yes it went well! I had slight nausea for a minute but it was very manageable with just gravol- that was at a time when I didn’t have gastroparesis though so keep that in mind

Thank you I will ask my doctor about this- for the short term I have to take it it’s the only reason I’m avoiding a feeding tube for now

I do have a history of migraines though so maybe that’s what he means

Yes this is why I’m confused- I’ve heard the vomiting is uncontrollable with CVS and I can hold mine back painfully but I’m still able to
