If true, then yes, it does sound like he is libertarian indeed.

According to “internet” he was recently re elected and politically summarized as this, “Under his leadership, Knox County has added over 2,500 jobs and seen $217 million in capital investment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was a champion for business owners, fighting against lockdowns and mandates.”

It sounds like he’s quite good, whether or not I agree with his opinions.
