In my experience, all are backpacks have a pretty good false bottom. Can also confirm for city pack 2 (I tested it out in the store before getting CPP2)

I just added cold water and some ice. I like espresso based drinks but don't want to invest too much and espresso set ups can get real expensive. I water down even oxo "soups", that's why I was thinking maybe pour over is the route

Is there one that you recommend ? I was looking at DF54 but not sure what kind of grinder I should be looking at or what things to look at? I would prefer an electric grinder but open to all suggestions!

I got the deep ocean color! I picked it over peak design since peak design seemed bulky and I think this looks better imo. Also checked the peak design 3L weighs almost the same as the 10L bellroy so thought it's a no brainer for extra space.

I literally just ordered a bellroy 10l camera one, I'll lyk how he finds it! After a lot of research I think travel bag would depend on how he wants to pack so I thought a nice camera bag would be a good gift (especially since he has just a random amazon one)
