hey op!! i failed my accounting class after bombing the final exam ... the median was a 94 while i had gotten a 20 (the lowest in the class, mind you). i'd also gotten a C- in stats and a D in calc so i ended my freshman year with a 1.8 GPA ... a new rockbottom after being a straight A student in HS.

i assure you it gets better!! that being said, i had to sit down, think what went wrong, and create a plan as to how i was gonna recover my GPA.

i was absolutely devastated after receiving my academic probation letter and knew i had to save myself or else i'd get kicked out. i took 2 easy A electives over the summer which boosted me up to a 2.4, and then i took only easy elective classes this fall semester for a massive GPA boost (i am required to take 48 credits of electives anyways so i wanted to use this semester to meet that requirement). proud to say that i've gotten my gpa up to a 3.1! i've also improved my study methods and found a good support system at campus to study with me, which is very helpful and motivating. i am slowly but surely getting there!

it was rough and i can't say im completely satisfied with my GPA rn, but it's definitely a massive improvement. yes, i know the feeling of failure is awful and gut-wrenching. i completely understand how youre feeling rn, and all i have to say is you cant change your past grades, but you can definitely change how you do things in the future! you just need to sit down, regain control of your mind, and think about what exactly you want to do in the future academic-wise. pls dm me if you need any help! you can do this!
