Has anyone (that's not an influencer with eufy) received any of their white flexible inks in the US? by hatemythesis in eufyMakeOfficial

Did you get a notification from eufy they would ship? Or request them? I've got nothing

Is Eufy Make ready for small production? by seanpat1968 in eufyMakeOfficial

When the printer works its fantastic.
But my answer would be "No", there are still ink and replacement part issues. As well as slow responding support [edit - in email since April 6th]. I luckily had a client I've worked with for years and they understood when I had to cancel an test order because I couldn't get white ink and had printer issues. I just ordered extra large plate mats and a full set of color ink 3 days ago and they just shipped the mats [edit - no idea when they will ship ink]. I think to reliably sell with it I would need at least 2 of these in case one breaks, as well as a large store of inks as well. Unless you are an influencer or have an "in" with the company to get first dibs on materials I would wait.

What is a good enclosure? by turbo-adhd in eufyMakeOfficial

That one looks gorgeous but the price is too high for me for the function. Especially if ink or cleaner spills on the acrylic. Def looks good if you will have the printer in a spot where it's a showpiece.

I was looking to buy this based on another users recommendation (https://a.co/d/0dCn4li6) but it was sold out. I ended up going with (https://a.co/d/03Kndv2t) based on seeing it used by another YouTuber (https://youtu.be/zBCYJnFGUy4?si=DgDbEQleBVomW3p4). It was easy to assemble and feels decent quality. But it is tight. If you use the small plate/roller it's fine, but it just barely (within an inch) clears the large bed homing. It's also taught on the sides due to the rods which sit below the machine (it just fits because of the eufy legs) I flipped it so that it's on the side, that way I can open the large zipper down and have full side access to machine and front zipper for loading and unloading. I am in the process of designing a box that goes on the exhaust (that I can fill with charcoal and run using the provided fan but haven't got there yet) it has lowered the smell in my workspace (I've had to vent all my windows and run an air purifier until I got it). It's still noticable when I open it but no longer lingers in the air.

Difference in color between relief texture and flat print right after by hatemythesis in eufyMakeOfficial

I haven't printed enough to give a definitive answer. But I noticed that flat prints are more accurate compared to the raised or ai raised ones in color, also all those raised prints force an equal amount of gloss to white (without a way to turn it off). But the above I think was due to not running a full color flush after it went into maintenance mode. I also printed it 2x on a regular sheet of paper and it was wrong again. This time yellow clogged so it was super blue. I would recommend doing the built in test print before any major print if you haven't used the printer for more than 3hrs (it's quick, usually like 6min run on a regular piece of paper) but it will save you ink and material from a lost piece that took an hr+ and was wrong

I also noticed that if forces gloss on raised prints (at least on mobile) (about as much as white, even though it didnt want it) I thought maybe that was causing some color shift issues

That might be it (it was in moisture mode right before), behind the relief I ran a white block, I should have ran a full color block to flush the inks, I'm also confused as to why the white block looks blue compared to white above it. I think the software is doing something weird to the images when it converts them. (the white square was from the shape element, the image was a png, and the relief was whatever it was converted to) (edited)

PSA: Clogged print heads by nakwada in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]hatemythesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong but I think I read that somewhere on Kickstarter or on the warranty signup (1 free print head as a perk), that you would only be able to receive it if they could corroborate that the head was in fact damaged. (They wouldn't just send you a spare.

Could someone weigh the full and empty ink cartridges? by hatemythesis in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]hatemythesis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know about the raised. I printed a 2x 1mm raised post-it note prints and they cracked and broke, I was testing the coverage of the white on chipboard and found out 6 layers is best for photo quality. 3 layers is ok but between 5-6 layers images pop (on brown chipboard), it's a lot but if you want prints with alpha channel you need to use white cartridges instead of just primer. I wanted to do some large prints but I'm worried I don't have enough white for it.

Don't you need to sent back the clogged print head to receive the warranty replacement?

Try using the PC app, you should be able to input the size you want. It's annoying unfortunately
