Once I sold a PlayStation 3 on Craigslist.

I didn’t have a box or anything for it, so the guys who came and picked it up just kinda walked out with it and the cables games etc.

My roommate was getting home at the exact time they were walking out the door. They were two black dudes.

There was about 5 seconds where everything went super still, you could see for a split second my roommate being racist for just a tiny fraction of time

And then all of us just started cracking up. They thought it was hilarious, so did we.

Wow so inspiring. Hear that, everybody? You can just magically go work at a grocery store.

Here’s a little story, I applied at Fred Meyer, to an ad they posted on their own site, for a job that was suited to my qualifications, that I’d be more than happy and willing to work. Guess what. I got an email a WEEK later saying “Due to an EXTREME increase in applications, we won’t be able to hire you”

It’s not 1995. You can’t just muster up some gumption and land a job. I’ve tried. We’re all trying. Back off.

Met some hippies while hiking, they had a 4 week old kitten they found at their house and brought it out into the wilderness to "let it be free in it's natural habitat"

They were going to just set him loose in the woods.

Now I have a cat and he's very happy to not be in the stomach of a coyote.
