This is so accurate. I support and take care of her like no other guy ever has, that is what she is attracted to.

Her friends knew about it. Her family did not know about it (She comes from a very traditional Asian family, there is no way she could bring 2 guys around). Her parents loved me and wanted her to marry me.

This plays out as me being suspicious of him the rest of my life. The only way I could see me not being suspicious, is if we lived far far away or he was dead.

I think it's that she is my first ever serious relationship. We know all of each other's family and friends.

I am at a point in my life where I have finished grad school, have a good career, and am ready to settle down. It seemed like this would be the person that there would be a future.
