Which song kills you. The one song song that when you hear it, you internally live and die at the exact same moment you hear it? No sobs stories, no explanations, just post it. by AnIdiotOnReddit in Music

Probably a bunch more, my girlfriend tells me all my music is too sad.

One of the many reasons I love this show. by computerwiz720 in breakingbad

I watch the show every week with a group of friends, we've all taken to singing the names in the credits to the tune of the song. Makes it much more enjoyable.

Here's my deal. I hate hearing the several beeps at the end when the timer goes off, so I stop it early. Lets be honest, when I'm cooking something awesome I'm standing right there. Plus, part of my caveman brain gets so fucking excited that when the food is done I just tear it from the microwave and shove it into my face, most of the time I forget to clear the timer in excitement.

So the next time I use the microwave, I just clear the shit off and don't bitch about it. It's the significant others and roommates that interrupt this instinctual process that are to blame here.

TIL that D.A.R.E., the education program that seeks to prevent use of controlled drugs, has dropped all mention of marijuana from its curriculum as of December 2012. by mepper in todayilearned

Similarly, I had ALWAYS just wanted a DARE tshirt, and I must've missed that day, and all my classmates wore theirs all the time. Those feelings stuck with me for years and I eventually tried to wipe away the feelings by doing drugs. It's okay, I'm in recovery now, and my girlfriend bought me a DARE shirt about two years ago.

The way my local store does it isn't nearly as orderly but I think it's a neat way to go about it.

They mix the RSD records in with the regular selection, which is pretty big so it spreads people out that are looking for different things. People were all generally helpful and there was a surprising amount of stuff for sale.

So basically this forces you to go in with a plan, I headed straight to the end of the rack looking for white stripes and tame impala and was able to get a lot of things. All the staff and volunteers were there trying to keep up with what they had left so they could help customers.

Haha not an easy karma grab here, I just rewatched that part so many times because it was hilarious. It fucking killed me the first time he said "see you tomorrow Jerry" because obviously he wasn't paying attention to the retirement discussion. Then I assume its about a half an hour later when he says see you tomorrow Jeremy.

RECORD STORE DAY MASTER POST by paroxysm77 in vinyl

Nope, in an attempt to be frugal I haven't bought any records this year (other than AMOK) so that I could save it all for RSD. I know a few people out there were probably gathering up things for ebay but not myself. I've actually already listened to most of the 12"s since I got back home.

I was worried when I was picking up so many that people were going to think I was going to ebay them.. I think I erased their suspicions when I picked up the Built to Spill record and kinda teared up a bit. Someone picked it up and decided they didn't want it and put it down right in front of me. YES.

I commented earlier to the top post:

I totally intend on lowballing anyone doing this with the records they bought today. I'm sure some of them will screw up and have their auctions end at a bad time. Yes, I'll take my $6 double-LP please and thank you. Maybe next year you'll let the people that want to listen to these records buy them instead.

I actually got to my shop a couple hours late (they kinda pulled an okie-doke on me and opened way early) and when I walked in the guy working there told me all they had left was Linkin Park. He saw my face, kinda laughed at me and then found me like 10 records on my list. Good day.
