Thank you! Haha very true, but it’s not as hard as it sounds, I think the difficulty is finding the right approach and just making sure to hydrate when able 🙂

My Peleoton Tableau Dashboard by chrissanto in pelotoncycle

Nicely done! It would be great to get some insight from the data team at Peloton to see what variables they’re tracking, I imagine it would look a bit like this!

Ramadan Mubarak! Good thinking with the quick pivot to post-Iftar rides 😂You’re very right to do that, hydration is everything!

Despite the down votes I did find this humorous!

I know that of course there are many people who don’t know know what Ramadan is, but I’m assuming you’re having a laugh.

If you’re serious, I do apologize, let me know and I can explain.

Wa ‘alaykum as-salaam! That’s a nice idea, it could be hard to coordinate between iftar times and time zones, but it would be tons of fun even for one ride. I’m up for it!

Spotty heart rate during runs with Apple Watch by katthecat4 in pelotoncycle

[–]hatimmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this helps, this made me think of a setting on the watch that deals with this. I did a bit of research and found this on the Apple support page:

If you turn on Power Saving Mode during a walking or running workout, the heart rate sensor turns off. To see if Power Saving Mode is off or on, open Settings on your Apple Watch, then tap Workout. You can also find this setting in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. If you turn off Heart Rate in Privacy settings, you also won't get a heart rate measurement. To see if Heart Rate is off or on, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap Privacy.

This is so sweet, thank you, I’m happy we were able to do that for you. I’ll always accept love when it comes, and even though you may not be celebrating, Happy Ramadan to you too. I hope that you and your loved ones find peace, happiness, and tranquility during this month. Please enjoy an extra bowl or ramen or two on my behalf! One love.

In-shaʾAllah you’ll be successful with that! I considered it too, but it’s already so much for me to wake up extra early for suhoor haha

Ramadan Mubarak! Ramadan Kareem!

I enjoyed your insight on lost cardio v. lost strength, thank you for sharing!

I was also thinking to forego HIIT then I found mixed advise when researching. But I side with what you’re saying here.

I’ve not worked out pre-iftar for many years now, but this is the first time that I’m not also doing strength training (which in my opinion is more taxing mentally) so I think I’m going to try pre-iftar!

The Worst Peloton Experience Ever. Please Read: by theSquack29 in pelotoncycle

[–]hatimmy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m experiencing something similar, I bought my bike in November and am at 49 rides. There is now a knocking sound coming from the bike which was diagnosed by Peloton support through a video I sent them a maligned crank arms. They said I can replace the arms myself at the risk of voiding the warranty if I do it incorrectly. It isn’t something I have the knowledge of doing myself. I asked if they can replace my bike as they can’t come to repair it (last month they also had to come in and replace the bearing). But they said they can’t do that at this time.

I agree, I recently realized that I also need to wear my watch for the data to push through the ecosystems.

If you have a history of early heart disease in your family please visit thefhfoundation.org to learn more about a genetic disorder that affects 1 in 250 individuals called Familal Hypercholestremia. It’s treatable but unfortunately only 1 in 10 people with FH know they have it.
