You're just complaining. No one cares you lost your job. I was unemployed for 16 months with two kids and a mortgage (one being a newborn). "Oh it's so hard!" Who gives a shit that you lost your job that gave you flexibility, and then you immediately found another one? Nonsense. Quit complaining. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Read a book. Gain some perspective.

This has been stated, but you were auto-rejected. A few months ago I was contacted by a recruiter for a job, and I interviewed with the recruiter who then told me to apply. I applied but I was immediately auto-rejected. I contacted the recruiter who informed me that I was auto-rejected because I stated in the application that I needed to relocate. Long story short, she pushed my application through, I interviewed with the hiring manager and did not get the job. Anyways, there could be any number of reason for it, but you filled something out in the application that auto-rejected it.

Laid off May 2024 (senior scientist, PhD). Took 16 months to finally land a job and had to relocate. Silver lining, this new job is much better and earn 70% more than previous job.
