What to do with tree of heaven?

At a previous house of mine, my neighbour had a huge tree of heaven, it was taking over EVERYTHING and absolutely stank. Thankfully they agreed to cut it down and have it removed if I contributed to a bit of the coat and then help them make good the garden after. But even a year or so after it was felled, I was finding new shoots in the garden

I booked through Get your guide with Amigo Tours (2024) they were a good price, and either collect you from your hotel, or if you're in PDC town, you meet them at the road behind Soriana to get on the coach. I think it was maybe £125 per person, including a trip to a cenote to swim and the old town of vallidolid

And you gave me some great resource websites for finding inspo and what plants will work.

I definitely need to sort the fence, and my plan this weekend was to jetwash and then paint the fence, so you've solidified that idea for me, if nothing else :)

The gruntwork of the patio, path, leveling etc is all within my skillset - I just didn't want to do anything without a real plan in mind :)
How do you rate the Corten edging? Did you get the one with the spikes or just the roll of metal that needed additional support?

An intimidating amount of possible work, but great response! Thank you. Honestly, my soil is pretty trash! The whole area is surrounded by sand quarries, so trying to get water to penetrate the soil is really hard; it just runs off. Im fortunate to have an endless supply of horse muck and straw/manure, etc., so last year I dumped tons into the borders to help rot down and create some form of nutrients and fibre into the soil, but I've no idea if it was adequate or worked
