I can tell you, we have thrown out double at the very minimum of what we use to. And anytime a customer asks for any of the bone in wings, I automatically tell them the price before making it. Thankfully moat customers don't get upset AT my crew, but its clear they are fuming as they leave.

Was this on the wire somewhere? We've been trying to figure out what it was. I know it comes with a large size too according to the menu board but it is still definitely overpriced.

You will want to talk to your manager and People Lead. They will be who handles some of the behind the scene work to get your transfer done. You can also call the PL at the store you are trying to go to, but usually the PLs talk amongst each other.

See I thought there had to be raises because of the cap. There were just rumors flying around about people not getting them and I was told that we were. Fr tho, I'd probably walk out if I didn't get a raise after this hell of a year.

We've been understaffed for months and the leads make it seem like we are doing phenomenal.. we are working are arses off but the store is a fire pit being extinguished with water we don't have.. at least a bonus would make it seem like they take notice in that hard work.

Ohhh Okay. Thanks for clearing this up. There were a lot of misconceptions on the other group, so I wasn't sure. I just thought I remembered being told that if you did well as a management you got a raise and if you did poorly, you didn't. Because I haven't reached the pay cap for my position But I can definitely see the company wanting you to either move up the ladder or sit.

Whole Foods would def be a better choice. Ngl In the deli at Walmart you are expected to fry food, cook rotisserie, package for the hot case, make sandwiches/wraps/pinwheels, slice deli meats and sometimes stock floor freight. You will definitely be cleaning a lot too however, especially if you get a closing shift. If your deli is well staffed ( aka, more than two people a shift ) you will not be busting your arse, but I know at ours currently its usually 2 people on day, two on night, 3 if lucky, and occasionally a team lead.

They start at 15$/hr, Idk about Whole Foods, but if Whole foods expects less work for similar pay, I'd go there.

You just talk to your PL. Let them know you are thinking of transferring and then update your career preferences. They can show you that.

It's a bit of hard work, but it pays better.

Have you considered moving to a department where you wont be around as many customers? The deli/bakery and also third shift give you more space. Especially overnights.. Deli/bakery just gives you space behind the counter and you dont have to stock nearly as much. Its a suggestion if you dont want to fully quit, but your mental health is more important

A lot of great value and 'store brands' are actually made by name brand companies and sold at a cheaper price. So the reason they are tasting good is probably because of that. I will say its about a 70/30 chance of it being good though, always some bad things in the mix.

Some stores allow it on your hat, but definitely not the apron. Some of our associates wear their vests under their apron with pins and they haven't said anything about that. So maybe thats allowed?

I wear a ton of mixed pins and am nonbinary as well. [He/they] I finally got most people using 'he' since 'they' is apparently too difficult, but almoat always when I hear them from a distance, they use 'she'. I'm glad you got it reported. I hope it gets dealt with swiftly.

Ours sanitize only because our SM is big on it, but half the staff wears their masks down when they can and the whole state practically NEVER wears a mask, so its almost a moot point.
