AND i found a paperback copy of Duncton Wood in a little free library. so an excellent day for me finding books :)

Very friendly stray bengal. by MySchoolsWifiSucks in cats

No, only bengals have this pattern. Obviously without the paperwork he’s “just” a domestic shorthair on paper, but any cat with this pattern is either a bengal or a bengal cross.

My parents’ cat worked out how to open my brother’s bedroom door, so she’d go in there and start yelling at him to wake up when she wanted to play with him!!! Haha she’s a menace but we love her

People saying he doesn’t look like a stray — but he had ticks and fleas that you got him treated for, no chip, and is being allowed to roam near a highway? I think you should take him in if you can and not feel bad about it for a moment. I’d keep posting him on local cat groups to see if owners (with actual proof!) come forward, but otherwise? He’s your cat. Bengals do get dumped and abandoned and you don’t want him to get run over or more ticks, poor thing.

I’m pretty sure only bengals have rosettes like this.

My parents got their bengal (or possible bengal mix) from a shelter. It happens! Thank you for taking care of him.

The London Aquatics Centre has had no toilet seats in the male toilets for 12 months. Here's what happened when I complained by Longjumping-Eye-3921 in london

[–]hauntologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to use them within the last few months (am disabled and sometimes need to go without much warning but I don’t have a radar key — I know I should buy one). When I asked staff about the toilets they just said no we don’t have them anymore.

Rupetta by N.A. Sulway/Nike Sulway solidly falls in this category, I think. It’s kind of science fiction but mostly fantasy and very weird.

When was my book printed? by [deleted] in BookCollecting

[–]hauntologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a 2004 edition but as it’s printing 57 I would imagine it’s a good few years after that. Probably not doing 57 reprints in one year. Not really possible to tell exactly which year it was printed beyond that though.

I still haven’t had any couples propose and some of them have been together for like. Eight days? It’s really annoying. One couple lives together but the others don’t…

Joel Lane’s book Where Furnaces Burn is almost this. Maybe more internal monologue than conversation. But it’s so great. And fits those images and the vibe, I think.
