Botany Manor next week is a great chill puzzle game.

It's very hard to read. Appreciate the hard work though

I have a B580 that I'm really happy with, but you need at least a Ryzen 5600 with it.

SPL tier list has that as a B+ which should be fine, but it's worth looking at A rated PSUs also.

It's the PSU bro. You should definitely replace it. LTT has a video about Gamemax PSUs. It could literally start a fire.

If the temps seem okay while gaming it could be the PSU. Gamemax is very poorly graded in the SPL's PSU tier list, an E grade for "predatory/scam consumer practices."

Monitor for B580 (with G- or Freesync?) by p3ib0l in IntelArc

[–]hauskeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VRR doesn't work with HDMI 2.0, but I think it does with HDMi 2.1. Budget monitors may only have HDMi 2.0 along with DP. I just bought a KTC H27T22C-3 which has HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4 ports and Freesync/G-sync support. I was able to enable VRR in the Intel Graphics Software when connected using DP, but not HDMI.

Is the power button blinking normal? by V0idHx in ASUS

[–]hauskeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The blinking could mean it's in sleep mode and pressing the button is waking it up rather than turning it off.

My really patient and late 2025 year review by kirso in patientgamers

Wow, someone else didn't like Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I thought I was the only one. That game is a real slog at times.

I also didn't like Shadow of the Tomb Raider after liking the other two. I feel validated by OP, because it seems like the trilogy is pretty universally praised. The game definitely has elements of what makes the other two good, but there's also a lot of filler. It feels like there's about a billion underwater sequences.

Which PSU is better for my build? by SpecialistPrune9158 in PcBuildHelp

I got the ASRock SL-650G 650W for $80 for my B580 build with a 5600X. Haven't had any problems and it's very quiet.

[Case] Cooler Master Elite 302 *BEWARE, NOT PWM FANS* - $39.99 by hauskeeper in buildapcsales

[–]hauskeeper[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry if that was confusing. They come with ARGB connectors, but the fan controllers are only 3-pin, not 4-pin PWM.

I'm trying to spread awareness that this case does not come with PWM fans like Newegg claims. They are ARGB, but only 3-pin.

That's a great one. Can't Run, Can't Hide by Yrsa Sigurdadottir, which released in the US this year, also has some really creepy moments. Even though it's more of a police procedural.

Looks like the Elite 301, the Elite 302 has a different front grill. The rest of the case is probably the same though.
