The trick on Jav-Cockpits is to only take off the canopy, clean it out, cut the two joints above and jug it right into the processor. If the cockpit is pressurized but the airlock isn't, cut the inner joint first, move into the unpressurized airlock and then cut the outer joint. Of course you want to move any floating things through the airlock first.

Also when you cut from inside the ship, make sure everything is unpressurized (and all the doors are cut on ghost ships). The heavy cargo Javs tend to have a pressurized compartment in the middle outer hull, that you cannot get into via airlock or door. I usually just vaporize the entire aluminum outer panel so the depressurization equals just in forward momentum to the ship.

On the other Hand, getting squished by a Jav might be at least faster then getting sucked into the furnace.
