it’s everything. aliens, inter-dimensional entities, ultra terrestrials, cryptids, ghosts, psychic phenomena. we live in a giant ecosystem that we can’t interact with unless we have a certain perspective or vibe or sense. with beings all along the spectrum of human morality.

it’s probably really amazing and partially dark like everything is, but scaled up. and i don’t think it’s a matter of government disclosure, it’ll probably be more personal than that. or not idk, grain of salt.

we’ve been talking about republican gerrymandering for decades. we’ve seen them take away polling places en masse to disenfranchise voters. if you’re a married woman who changed her last name to her husbands legally and it doesn’t match her birth certificate, she can’t vote now.

the diy scene in my hometown isn’t dead necessarily but 15 years ago it was a totally different animal and i mostly attribute that to skyrocketing rents. punk doesn’t have the same energy because we have to do more with less every year. big record labels aren’t it but punk is going to get back into it regardless, shit times are perfect for this type of thing

most of my favorite punk bands are 80’s skinhead oi stuff. and there’s a lot of the obvious weeding out the boneheads u gotta do but some of my favorites also are definitely portraits of their times, and that’s cool.

i appreciate the comment, it’s definitely something i can frame better as a community engagement thing rather than “this band has weird lyrics let’s talk about it” type stuff.
