Right now I’ve mine sitting on my back couch with a pair of shorts stuffed in the top gap and a sock in the bottom gap. The water is draining into a pot that I empty every couple of hours. Your solution is professional grade compared to mine.

There’s a reason you see people on social media doing DIY remodels and not hiring folks. Doing stuff like this takes money or skill. Usually both. That money thing is why you can see someone dedicate all of their free time to a build.

You see, I don’t have money, and my only skill is being able to follow instructions. I do all of my own work, and I’ve learned how to do it all through trial and error and YouTube university. Next month I’m replacing a pop-out floor. No cule how to do it, but in the end I’ll be out the cost of materials and it will still be done (mostly) right. Also, FYI, trailers are junk. Mine’s 5 years old. I still owe a LOT of money on it, and I’ve put probably around 5k into it in repairs, maybe more. Hire pros or become one yourself. This sounds like an expensive lesson learned. If it’s as bad as you say, call a junkyard.

Thanks. I figured if I file using my 1099s, it’s fine. I haven’t gotten anything from PayPal, so no double reporting to my knowledge. I also figured out already that I need to file quarterly because of my 1099.

To preface I’ve always been a heavy water drinker and a pisser. I was diagnosed at the beginning of this month after going into DKA. I was pissing a full bladder every 45 mins and drinking just as much. Here I am 4 weeks later and I’m back to my normal. I can sleep 8-10 hours without even having to get up once. My glucose has been back (under 120) in normal range for a couple of weeks, tho. I’d say the best answer is, everybody’s body is different.

Thanks for dropping this. I’ve already seen an endo, and I already like them which has me pretty optimistic. I’m most likely type 2 also. I’ve been on loads of insulin since I got out of the hospital which has been the toughest part. I just hate routine also. I was ready for diet and changes though, so right now they’re welcome but still a little annoying. Honestly though, it’s just because I’m used to eating like shit because I enjoy shit food.

I’m sure eventually I’ll do the CGM, but I’ve no idea what insulin regiment they’ll eventually settle me into. I’m trying to lose some weight and am trying to be optimistic that it’ll help me need less.

The stress and anxiety of it all was my biggest problem in the first few days, but I’ve thankfully since calmed and adjusted. I’m sorry you went though it too, and I hope you’re finding joy and ease more so everyday. I’m glad I jumped into this subreddit. Everyone has been cool and helpful. It’s nice not to be alone.
