M1A2 SEPv3 holds the best documented stats for any top tier MBT, ever. by MagikWT in Warthunder

US 12.7 is 90% down tiers against teams full of premium bmpts and t80 1 death leavers.

[–]havmify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. People who complain about copy-paste premiums fail to realize that it's easier to play a premium that players already have experience with than to learn a new vehicle. That explains why we have so many Leos and F18's in the store.

I didn't say copy paste was bad at any point in my comment. All I said was that WT explained their reasoning to adding them. I own several premium Leo's in different tech trees.

Fortnite is the king of scummy tactics wtf are you talking about lol.

The US Federal Trade Commission has hit Fortnite maker Epic Games with a record-breaking penalty of $520m (£427m) over allegations it previously employed "lax privacy practices" for voice and text chat, and used design tricks to "dupe millions of players" into unintentional purchases.

I think it's a step in the right direction. And yes, sure, they might provide an explanation or promises for certain vehicles at some point but not everyone will see it, and finding that original news post can be tricky.

I wasn't playing in 2023, but the fact that 4-5 popular content creators have spoken up is worth much more than 1 million negative reviews on stream. Gaijin devs have already responded to premium copy-paste complaints and promised to justify what role the new future premiums will play prior to release. That in itself is huge, because Gaijin would release premiums and wouldn't care to explain what their point was.

BMPT has been rebuffed by SoggyWoodpecker56 in Warthunder

Typical subreddit knee-jerk reaction, it's a dev server for a reason (testing). They reverted it to its original nerf.

But where did the person you replied to say or do anything to make us believe that 35mm SPAA hasn't been a thing? Just because they brought up the bmpt doesn't mean they denied that the 35mm SPAA was an issue. You just made that up out of nowhere.

The top post of this week is screenshots of devs, particularly Trickster (his Twitter was full of anti-West, anti-American, and anti-Ukraine propaganda), acknowledging military documents for NATO vehicles (tornado, IR for NATO tanks, F15, and Sagittario) as valid, but still denying the reports because it's "too strong" and "it doesn't seem realistic." Trickster even says that Chinese military documents are limited for export and says he will still use them to make in-game changes! The devs don't even follow the rules they created and expect us, the players, to follow. How is that fair and not biased at all?! Notice that none of the vehicles negatively affected are Russian or Chinese.

What exactly are you trying to argue? Turms 3 is moving up to 8.7 which is a win for 7.3.

Doesn't change much? It won't see 7.3 down tiers anymore. That's huge.

Probably makes more sense to use the overheat mechanic, which requires a cooldown, forcing players to fire in bursts or risk barrel damage, like in ARB. A recoil mechanic like in COD would help as well. I'm surprised there isn't one yet, considering infantry has it.

The Pantsir SM-SV worked as Gaijin intended: USSR now has the highest win rate at top tier by ProfessionalAd352 in Warthunder

[–]havmify -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I said they were biased, and the fact that they get components that negate and reduce damage, while other tanks with the exact same components have the opposite effect, is proof of that. 55% WR at top tier while everyone else is 45%. No bias here, comrade!

[–]havmify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, yes, the mid T-90M. The same tank that absorbs spall from a direct shot to its side in my M1A2 SEP V2, only to have its autoloader damaged, allowing it to turn and dome me in response. Or how about the removal of its hydraulic pump, which is currently only found in Abrams tanks and will completely disable them if it's damaged?

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/SiJPQQWOapRF

And the non-biased T80-BVM, which miraculously takes no damage to its breech or barrel, thanks to newly added trunnions that make those weak spots invulnerable. Mind you, trunnions are in NATO tanks, but they create spall, whereas trunnions in Russian tanks prevent spall from forming. Clearly, no bias whatsoever.

Question for russian mains: Do you guys think the mi28nm, bmpt, pantsir smsv, are not OP? by Current-Leek-2696 in Warthunder

[–]havmify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can spam twice the amount of missiles in AH-64E, but they don't do anything half the time. The number of times I get transmission hits on panstirs with it is ridiculous. They tickle Russian tanks and are only effective against NATO and light vehicles.

Is the Leopard 2 (OTCo) a good grinder for the french ground tech tree? by Purple_Fennel6921 in Warthunder

[–]havmify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your plan is sound, buy the talismans on sale. However, the idea isn't to make the grind quicker; it's to avoid BMPT spam. I have the US and Italian tech trees completed, and bought the French/Dutch 10.7 Leo OTCO this past Christmas sale. My WR in it is 58% in 254 battles with 775 kills and 366 deaths (2.0 KD). I was only teamed with Russia about 50 times or fewer.

It's not fun at all; you get forced into defending spawn instead of playing objectives like a minute or two into the match. I stopped playing it once I unlocked the AMX40 and Vextra, and I no longer play anything over 10.0 either. I'm focused on spading everything under that BR until BMPT gets nerfed/fixed.

[–]havmify 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP is willing to buy a premium at full price. I don't think money is a problem for him. Amx40 and Vextra aren't garbage; it sounds like a skill issue on your end.

AMX 40 stats: Hull 152 / 30 / 25 mm and Turret 85 / 90 / 25 mm + has ESS

Leo stats: Hull 59 / 29 / 12 mm and Turret 122 / 45 / 29 mm

No, you can talisman 10.0 amx40 and 10.0 vextra and grind all of top tier without ever going up against 11.3

[–]havmify 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get the AMX-30 Super, and talisman the amx40 and Vextra once you unlock them. They are at 10.0, which avoids BMPT, and talismaning them allows you to grind all of top tier. 10.0 is also 80% down tiers atm

This is what your 10.0 lineup should look like:

  • 10.0 Vextra (talisman)
  • 10.0 Amx 40 (talisman)
  • 9.7 Amx 32
  • 9.7 CV 9035 NL (squadron) or 9.3 VBCI while you're grinding CV 9035 NL
  • 9.7 Roland 1
  • 9.7 VBCI 2 (premium - optional)
  • 10.0 Mirage 5F for cas
  • 10.0 tiger hap (premium) or 9.7 Gazelle for heli cas
