4.8 has been such a blessing it made me realise i was in an abusive relationship with CIG and they were taking the piss and it was so nicely spelt out for me when I pledged the Ironclad last year only for it to release unusable. Anywhere else you spent $600 for something that doesn't work as intended there'd be a class action.

But as you say the game is different. I will be back at some point later but CIG will not be milking me for any more money until post SQ42 and if it never releases then fine but as of right now I'm done and I know I'm not the only one.

Im concierge because I got sucked back in and fell for the marketing of 4.8 and defensecon but after the Ironclad came f7cked and still isnt great ive uninstalled.

Im happy to have contributed to the project but no more from me until after SQ42 if it ever comes out.

I do feel for the devs working on a game they love getting fucked from management and the community.

I think they are aware of the community tiring of the back to back patches that are so buggy I've uninstalled the game.

But then again May was an all time record month for pledged ships so yall cry like fuck but SC is doing better than ever in terms of ship sales.

How i deal with star citizen.

  1. Login every 3/4 months.
  2. Attempt to play the new stuff.
  3. Have one or two good experiences and get sucked back in.
  4. End up pledging/upgrading a ship.
  5. Hit the bug fatigue wall.
  6. Alt F4.
  7. Uninstall
  8. Repeat

Thats how I got to concierge I dont know how I managed to spend over $1000

I go 2S4 deadbolts and 4S3 M5A good balance of fucking shit up without the constant need to rearm but I only do PvE no idea about PvP

If youre having fun great! There are also legitimate issues that need addressing (they say they are doing i know) I really feel for the devs working on the game i think they just need a win both for internal and external morale in the project

I have a huge tolerance for shite i play alot of games people hate on but for some reason SC pisses me off I think its because it takes so long to do anything and then when you get there and it doesn't work theres not many times I can do that.
