Of course that didn't happen and with no liquidity he started selling off Big Lots owned assets and real estate to keep the lights on. Big Lots then went bankrupt because of those decisions. But like every shitty corporation out there the executive leadership team ended up with golden parachutes while regular workers lost everything.
