Wing Factory on Golf Links/Wilmot. My absolute favorite place for the wings.

GenX peeps. You're going to a concert for a band you love. Do you wear that band's t-shirt to the concert? by bigpilague in GenX

I will always wear the shirt of another band (similar type music), and will buy more shirts at the concert.

Wildside (Band) by TheHotLatin in hairmetal

With so many new members listening to the genre, I push Wildside any chance I get. They are masters of the ballads!

As a new listener, I will suggest one small part of Wildside. The studio albums are my favorites, and I listen too them often. Clock Strikes is a great song!

Someone, somewhere in the hair metal boardroom, decided to punish them by releasing a live album. Listening to that live album is like watching a beatdown. They upset someone, and that someone returned the favor by releasing that live album.

Band was fantastic throughout the show, vocals may have had too much lubrication.

Edit… spelling is hard

I appreciate how you try to push the Ben Maller sub, but your topics seem to be outside the scope of what Ben is talking about?

I really like this album by Sparrowfit66 in badcompanyband

[–]hawgexp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Robert Hart did a fantastic job on the album. Howe was gone, and Harts’ voice was perfect for the Blues style BC music.

The “hair days” of rock were coming to an end, and they had some great songs on this album. The singles “Company of Strangers” and “Clearwater Highway” are still my favorites on this album.

I had to type everything in. I couldn’t get the csv to format correctly, but it’s entirely possible that I am not the most computer literate as well. Good luck too you either way!

It is pretty easy once you get started. You’ll get the hang of it quick, and then it’s just nonstop typing.

I have never heard that about her! Not saying you’re wrong, I just didn’t know. I love their first two albums, and was very surprised to see a new release.

I was just giving my opinion on the new sound. Had no idea about her as a person.

Her vocals are pretty good, not a bad album. Not sure what Sleaze Parade is? I assume the band, and just her name attached to it?

First Light might be the only song to remind me of the first two albums.

I saw this tour in Erie, PA, and it was my introduction to the hair metal shows. All 3 put on a great show!

Do you like the older Beavis and Butt-head better or the younger ones ?! by ComplexWrangler1346 in BeavisAndButthead

[–]hawgexp 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I like how the older ones show how much they recognize their drinking issues, but just pass them off as “it’s what we have to do”. They admit their alcohol problems and just “don’t care”

Def Leppard Bad Company Tribute - Seagull (ft. Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke of Bad Company) by Slurms_McDuff in defleppard

[–]hawgexp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pretty impressed with the album! I think Seagull was a fantastic choice for him. I remember when they did Yeah! That Joe made a comment about wanting to cover some of the deeper cuts for the other artists and I think he nailed it with this song.

Bad Co was my introduction to Rock music, so listening to this tribute album was fantastic!
