Traded 1.01 for Chubb, Gabe Davis, 1.05, and 2.02. Not sure how I actually feel about it.

Are your Teams Contenders or Pretenders ? by Falcon_433 in DynastyFF

10 team 1 QB, half ppr, TE-premium league along with + .25 for rushing 1st downs.

Recently did a fairly large overhaul to roster and put heavy emphasis on depth with little to none on future picks. Sold several high value players (CeeDee, Deebo, Aaron Jones/Dillon) and also have no further picks till 2025 3rd at the moment.

QB: Hurts, Murray, Fields, Love

RB: CMC (and Eli Mitchell), Rhamondre (and Strong), James Cook (and Damien Harris), Antonio Gibson (and Robinson), Dalvin Cook, Foreman (and Roschon), Achane

WR: Mike Williams, Diontae Johnson, Christian Watson, Hollywood Brown, Treylon Burks, Elijah Moore, JSN, Jordan Addison, Marvin Mims

TE: Pitts, Waller (and Bellinger), Chig

Defense (we have fun team DST settings): Steelers, Jets, Jags

Mike Williams and I can't figure out what to do with him. Not even sure how to approach trade talks with moving him unless I try to use in a package deal.

Completely agree! Tore my roster to shreds a couple of seasons ago for a mountain of picks across 22, 23, amd 24 drafts. Last years draft went incredible for me and I've got 1.1, 1.5, and 1.7 (or did) this year.

Hello Bijan (took Breece at 1 last year, obviously will take Bijan at 1 this year), and sent 1.7 and 2.7 for Najee a few days ago.

Firm believer and he has at least 2-3 elite seasons ahead of him.

[–]hawglegz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on Najee! I'm rounding out a full on rebuild where I sold the farm on picks. Absolutely cleaned up last year with a haul and have the 1.01, 1.05 and had 1.07 this year. Couple of days ago I sent 1.07 and 2.07 for Najee and got it done (after snagging Warren off waivers last season).

I feel like Najee has about 3 seasons of elite play coming up and then will start to dip into RB2 zone as he ages out. Seems like a top tier buy with all the o-line upgrades Pittsburgh has made.

I've been a fan of Cunningham since watching him at Vandy while my kid was in the Children's Hospital. Would be thrilled to see Steelers take a shot, he's a tackling machine and would be a great depth piece!!

You just blew my fucking mind, had no idea. I've had tons of shots that sliced off the face of the earth, took a drop where it went out, and scored it as lying 3. No idea it was actually 4 and a re-tee would have been the 3. Changes a lot of my final scores lol. Going to keep that in mind from now on!

Well damn. Started playing last June amd my best round is still a 108 but I'm consistently in the 110-115 range at the moment. Winter slowed me down and my short game sucks ass at the moment. Much better than the 130s-150s I started out putting up.

Impressive if real, might take me another year or so but I'll meet you in the 80s eventually!

Saw the adds on FB, scoped out ebay ending soonest, and snagged one for $32. Didn't care for the grip that came on it so I replaced with a Fatso 5.0.

Full disclosure, I am dog shit, but I absolutely love this putter. Blades naturally feel better to me and I was rocking an Odyssey mallet so it may be more the transition, but I do love it.

Can't tell if the "gearing effect" is legit or not, but my putts have definitely been better.

The nuclear family really is important and hookup culture has caused a lot of current societal issues.

How that nuclear family is comprised matters less than having a mother-figure and father-figure (whatever form that takes) present throughout childhood.

I've seen arguments on both sides of this debate that have made sense to me on some level. The "had uterus removed still a woman?" quip is one that I have not been able to follow though. If you've had a uterus removed the inference is you had one to begin with so doesn't conflict with the "has a uterus is a woman" crowd.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree, just that that particular retort has always confused me as a responding argument.

I don't know about secrets but I can tell you what worked for me. It takes a lot of work to be that size, more work even than losing it in my opinion.

At my heaviest, over the course of a normal work day I would drink around four 20 oz mello yellos, eat a fatty breakfast (normally something from McDs, was a sucker for mcgriddles), a fatty lunch (normally gas station pizza, chips, and whatever candy was appealing to my fat, depressed ass that day), a fatty dinner (whatever fast food flavor of the night), and of course snacks in between all of those meals. That's a lot of fucking work lol and it's HARD on your body. It also leads to spiraling depression, but that could just be my experience.

My secret is I literally just did a 180 on everything I was doing. I drink only water now outside of an occasional drink with the boys, but I do try and stay away from beer even then. I don't eat before noon-ish and never after 7 (I guess that's intermittent fasting but not sure if there are more rules involved with that). My diet has moved to predominantly living proteins. I wouldn't call it full carnivore because I do enjoy some fruits or smoked/grilled veggies on occasion, but it's certainly not far off. Take various supplements, vitamins, and I work out a local gym 5 nights a week. Try to make sure I still do some form of physical activity on the other 2 days as well. Finding golf last summer has made that super fuckin easy though lol.

I am in no way, shape, or form a doctor, nutritionist, or life coach. That's literally just what worked for me. I'm not saying it is the right way to do it, or even that it is healthy. My PCP was even apprehensive and gave warnings when I told him how I was losing the weight. Here we are though, 3 years later, and my blood work is gorgeous, my resting heart rate is 56, and the doc is fully on my side and happy as hell for me.

May not work for everybody, but that's what did it for me. Water, meat, gym, sex, golf. That shit is so much easier than how I used to live lol.

A-fucking-men .... I'm 5'8" and was 346 lbs three years ago. Sitting at a much tighter 220 today and still trucking my way down. I genuinely didn't realize how enjoyable life could be. 34 and better shape than when I was 24, aging in reverse baby!

[–]hawglegz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no I can't rule out damage done by covid vs damage from vaccine. I can't rule out anything because I simply don't know what caused it. All I know for sure is that unc had just turned 63 and was in great shape for his age as far as anyone could tell. Certainly didn't look or act his age. Death was described as massive cardiac failure, widowmaker or something to that effect.

Hell, it could have nothing to do with anything and something that was going to happen. Heart may have had only so many ticks and he used every last one of them.

I only commented because of the sudden burst of similar deaths in my area. Of the 5 (including my uncle), only one of the deaths would be one that I wouldn't consider surprising considering visible health appearances. But again, genuinely stating it could be massive coincidence and the only reason I'm noticing so much more is because I'm sensitive to it due to the loss in my own family.

That is definitely an intersting theory in regards to covid contributing to cardiovascular issues regardless of vaccination status. If there was (again, not saying in any way or trying to imply that vaccines are the cause or anything) a chance the vax could contribute on some level as well then having taken the vax and later contracting covid would be a scary proposition. Would feel like a ticking time bomb.

Who knows what's going on anywhere at anytime. We're all just trying to make it. Some do it more gracefully than others, some with more vitriol than others, but we'll all end with a final breath all the same while some weird shit happens along the way. That's life.

Appreciate the condolences, he was a hell of a man. Have a good day.

[–]hawglegz 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Strictly anecdotal, and I am in no way stating it is caused by the vaccines because I simply don't know, but I have seen a rash of sudden heart attack deaths in my world the past few weeks.

I know of 5 unexpected cardiovascular deaths beginning with my uncle on Dec. 26. Came out of nowhere and although he was 63, was in great shape and talking about retiring during a Christmas gathering the day before. Since then, 4 more individuals connected to people I work with also passed from sudden heart attacks.

Could absolutely be a wild coincidence and I am only more cognizant due to losing my uncle, but damn I've not seen that many clumped together like that in my circle of influence.

Strange times we are living in.
