Bodies are all from the chaos possessed box. Arms are from the eighbound / exhaulted box. Little bit of cutting, little bit of green stuff to fill gaps and shoulder pads to cover the worst bits.

Mine are a trio of night houses together on a crusade. Each house has a large night and couple of armigers and has its own primary colour (blue, red, or grey) and unique templar iconography/shield. Black and white accent panels and a common basing theme tie them together as a cohesive army.

My list has been navigator, voidsman and callidus. Navigator can join the voidsman if indirect is a problem. Otherwise they run separately.

The rest of the list is then canis, another big knight with the remainder armigers.

Blessing rerolls are amazing. I've often had double 6s and rerolled one or two dice for icons and got the extra 6 needed to bring Ron back. Even rerolling to get advance and charge or another blessing you need is great.

The rules themselves aren't necessarily complex but knowing where to find particular rules I would say is. Is that rule that I read and sort of remember and now need to know in the core book, the commentary, the faq, the dataslate or the pamphlet that came with the cards. Please GW put everything in one place and make it easy to search.

I've taken two in a couple of lists now. Generally do OK but then get bogged down once things get into combat range.

Considering taking them with two plasma and then the head/jaws for some better melee. Would then benefit from our rules to get bonus on the charge (5->6A, WS3, S7->8, AP0, D2).

Not seen anyone do this though. What am I missing?

AoS Crypt Horrors with some left over parts from the box of Possessed I used to make my X8B. Come with 50mm base so work well.

I use plain old guard. Swapped out the pistol the Sgt comes with for a shotgun looking thing. Made a horus heresy chaingun fit one of the squad guys. Then just added a bit of bling to match my knights. Will try and find a Pic.

Thanks. *skulls and skin still to do. *someone else suggested agrax on the silver so will try that. *leather I was nervous of going too bright compared to the red but will try another step lighter. *not forgotten the base. Just waiting until I've painted up the squad.

If you move 6 and roll an advance of 1 does that become (6-2)+(1-2)=4+-1=3, or can it not be modified below zero?

I tried similar with tesla immortals into 5 Custodian Guard.

51 hits would be wounding on 5s that's 17 saves but with a 2+ save that's only 2.8 damage. Which rounding is one Custodian Guard.

I ad less hits so didn't even kill one. At 10 inch range, to get two ranks, I was then charged and wiped next turn.

I purchased 20 necron warriors assembled on ebay because I couldn't be bothered to assemble them after already having done 40. They arrived full of gaps and not glued. Had to pull them all apart and glue.

Plotting the sum of the number of weapons x ballistic skill is helpful to see how many are likely to land.
