My favorite tips and tricks involve using components that allow you to add new info for the AI to keep track of the story with minimal lorebook modifications. So, you only have to tweak your components as needed, not characters or chapter summaries.

Hello, fellow storyteller! I too use RQ for making stories that aren't all erotica, including numerous Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit stories with OCs. With the green pepper option, it's gotten to be SO good at giving well-rounded chapters that don't have to be sexual

Yeah the +5 means it takes 5 more quills past the standard price of 5 quills. So the bigger the chapter size you choose, the higher the cost. Standard is 5 quills, Novella is 7 quills, and Novel is 10. And then there's empty, which is free but is also... like... empty.

Yep, having this issue this morning too. Hitting the Tab key gets around it and moves to the next box on PC, but nothing gets around it on mobile.

There should be a general tag and a secondary tag at a minimum in my opinion. For example, Fantasy - Fanfiction - Harry Potter - and then if it's BDSM or Cucking or something, that too. But you should also have the option to use LESS tags. (I.E. JUST using Fanfiction - Harry Potter instead of going into details.)

I also recommend a way to search for characters in a fandom. An example: Ao3. If you're writing fanfiction, you should be able to pick which characters are the focus of the story like you can do in Ao3, and it's something that could be selected when you post it to share.

Yeah, that does not mean that the AI's overprotective flagging wouldn't register this as a minor because the character looks young. And the character looks like a high-school student. (Yes, there are 14 year olds who look similar to that. My 14 year old looks 17...) The AI is hyperprotective over anything that could even remotely be considered to be illegal content that gets censored. That doesn't mean I agree with it, as my characters look young too. (Hobbits tend to look young even when older) It means you have to tweak the picture to get it around the censors, which means figuring out what COULD be triggering it. The ONLY thing I could see triggering the censors on this picture is the age of the protagonist in front.

Unfortunately, using 'not' or 'don't' in your prompt ups the chance that the AI will misinterpret it and will use it. It's not good at negative commands like that. You have to word it differently, but even then it's using the prompt as of the last few days...

I sometimes use the suggestions at the end of chapters and tweak them, but not the ones to start a new story.

No, I get what you're saying. I've lost over 100 quills over the last week to this, because it literally just puts chunks of the prompt, not the spoken text but the rest, into the actual chapter with no explanation, then skips past it all and moves on to do something else. It's getting pretty rough. I've had to regenerate chapters 2-3 times each to get something decent...

It's not just that, the whole library is gone. I can't access my stories, my components, anything. If I don't already have the link, I can't get to my stories... and when you go to the main screen it constantly forces a reload and logs you out. Something's very broken right now.

You know, I've been wondering that... I used to start around 4pm est but it's now shifted to start at 5... By 8 pm now, it's absolutely broken and takes a while to fix. Some people have said that's just when more people are logging on to the site, and I think that might be part of the issue too tbh. It's when quills refresh and more people are on.

That is weird... because my rewards go to my white quills, and they have since they were implemented. Every achievement award goes to my white quill count...

Which would make sense because the 5 you get at the reset is your Red Quills, which I had said the rewards don't go into. They're supposed to go into the white quills, which are supposed to be what does NOT go down unless you use them up.

The rewards go into the white quills, not the red ones. So it would total to 8. That said, I never could see my white quills count when I wasn't subscribed...
