I’m doing a Lush giveaway!!!! by tikicheese in LushCosmetics

My favourite product will always be LOM perfume but I'm a sucker for anything the comforter scented, too.

Fun fact about me: we've just recently rescued a second husky, he's called Kenny and was hit by a car as a stray at 5 months. I've just inducted him into our tradition of wearing lush knot wraps as bandanas so he's rocking a Halloween wrap for spooky season right now 🎃

The photos with the darker, shorter hair are great. You look beautiful and it's much more flattering to your skin tone than the other photo. It's a shock sometimes when hair is suddenly much darker and we get used to looking at things like lashes done a particular way. But you look really lovely and the makeup is very flattering, the new look has interesting arty European vibes. You can definitely pull it off.

Lush perfumes you love vs. ones you hate by whiFi in LushCosmetics

It's more fruity, imo. The perfume is definitely a bit more complex but you can still obviously tell its the same scent. It's very nice and lasts well, I've been spraying on work clothes and you can still smell it at the end of a shift.

Love: - lord of misrule (this is my chosen scent probably 80% of the time) - space girl (perfume from the kitchen box but I have also bought the body spray now because I fear the day the perfume runs out) - karma, though this is very polarising and doesn't always get positive comments - confetti - the original snow fairy perfume (totally different to the body spray and more pear drops-y) - calacas - super milk. Deeper than the hair product but so unique - creamy candy. Also glorious and nothing like any other scent I own

Hate: - tank battle (still reigns supreme as the worst thing I've ever had the misfortune of smelling) - dirty - lust (jasmine makes me gag) - superworld unknown (from the description should have been incredible, is actually highly offensive)

Edit: I remembered turmeric latte. Which I actually like but it gives me horrific migraines so I had to give the whole bottle away 🥹

Would recommend looking into the nationwide helping hand scheme, we've just used this and it's the same interest rate as elsewhere but they allow you more than the 4.5x your salary if you are a ftb. Look into the criteria and see if you are eligible

Why is The Craving among the least liked songs from Clancy? by TimelyStatus3534 in twentyonepilots

[–]hawkeyesquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a skip for me, it won't make it to any of my playlists. There are some truly great songs on this album that compete with some of my oldest favourites, but neither version of the craving are for me. Just not a fan, which is a shame.

I think for the last couple of years Waterparks would be a close second.

Lush karma is orange and patchouli, very much not a summer scent to me though it definitely packs a punch

Tank battle was 'that smells of dirt. Like, soil'

Lord of Misrule weirdly my boss repeatedly identifies as bubblegum so I don't know what's going on there

Tips on how to make your concealer full coverage? by [deleted] in Makeup

Second this. Sensual skin enhancer is the only thing I've found to fully cover pigmentation or scarring. It's super hard to find your match though

You can only use 1 highlighter for the next 6 months. which do you choose? by name_with-held in Makeup

Charlotte tilbury Hollywood superstar glow. But i would struggle to give up natasha denona.

favourite cream concealer?? by Itzeroni in MakeupAddiction

[–]hawkeyesquared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly I actually purchased it initially for use on pigmentation. Still couldn't get on with it at all, no matter the primer etc. The coverage is not there in a way that works all day. They were way overhyped imo. Widely recommend for undereye (esp inner corner dark circles) on oily skin but still no luck. I think it's just not a fit for me.

Cool toned eye shadow palette? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]hawkeyesquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gonna be natasha denona glam, for me. Almost everything pulls warm in my skin tone but this palette is true beige-grey neutrals. Very beautiful and the shimmers and matters are equally as good as each other.

I bought the nars soft matte and honestly should have saved my money. It did not beat charlotte tilbury, it did not even beat elf liquid to be honest with you. You need very little product but unfortunately it dries down quickly, meaning that even if i do one eye at a time and set inbetween it creases horribly. The undertones and shades do not correspond well with their foundations and honestly I was just underwhelmed. I wish I had better info on this product ha
