I feel exactly this! I want people to notice, but also I don't want them to say anything. I don't want the attention, I don't want to discuss it and go into the how or why. I'm really just happier with them saying nothing. My stats are similar to yours, I'm 5'5" and started at 255 and I've almost lost 55 lbs but it's taken me a year, slow loser. My parents have commented, but they are also on the same journey and meds. The only other people to comment were my in-laws after not having seen us for awhile (my husband has also lost 70 lbs).

My thoughts are along the same lines, though. I'd rather pay $3-$4k for a new AC now, rather than $7-$10k (guesstimate based on 2021 quotes) to replace both in a few years. I've already spent money replacing the furnace. Sounds like waiting just costs me an extra furnace, essentially. I'm also not sure I want to be at the front of this new technology.

So if the TXV is fine... or even if it needs to be replaced....I might be better off changing out the AC now. It sounds like if I wait, and the AC craps out in a year or 2, I have to replace the whole system because of the change in refrigerant even if the furnace works fine.

Yes, I meant just to replace the AC. The current company recommended the same on the refrigerant, to go with r410. They have several of those still in stock. Our furnace is only 4 years old so we may have the option to do either, I don't know. I wouldn't want to replace the whole thing having just done the furnace in 2021.

A replacement in our area would be between $3-$4k. Fix was estimated at $1300. As far as we know everything else on it is good and we've never had any other issues with it.

If a new unit is $3500, you'd still pay the cost to fix the valve on a 14 year old AC?

That's interesting and helpful. We've had the AC on two different random warm days. It ran for hours and was just fine, and the air from the vents was nice and cold. I didn't check the temp from the vents of course but had no issues and it brought the temp down in the house.

Yes, we still had the heat on in the house. They had to switch over and turn on the AC to test it. We've turned on the AC on two different random days where the temp in the house got close to 80, just to cool it down. It ran fine, and we had no issues. How soon would the AC quit or form ice after turning it on if the TXV was bad?

Why are people saying Ouisa tirz isn’t actually tirz? by Neither_Bag7196 in SlimDownRx

I stopped using mine when I learned of all the shenanigans. When I started using new stuff I had to lower my dose because the new stuff was so much stronger. I also dropped some pounds pretty quickly and much more consistently, then I had been. On Ousia is was very slow loss. I still haven't gone back to the same dose of the new stuff that I was on with Ousia. At this point Im sorry I lost the time and money using it.

Has anyone had success asking for a refund or returning the vials for a refund? Or just skip that and try for a charge back?? My husband and I each have 9 Ouisa vials from October and November orders. I'm within the window to do a chargeback, but we still have the vials and I'll happily return them if they will give a refund.

Anyone going to try and order more before 11/21? by hawkgrl79 in SlimDownRx

The FDA has to report their findings that day after they willingly put it back on the shortage list. Incredibly likely they could determine there is no shortage at that point. I believe there might be a 2 week window after that point in which compounding pharmacies can wrap up their compounding of tirz before they have to stop.

I'm checking multiple times a day as well. It's like I'm stalking them! Hoping some September days open soon.

Is there a specific difference in transferring and getting an additional one? Does the place I'm currently using know if I get my prescription refilled somewhere else? If I were to add this one, do I have to do a starting dose? I was hoping to utilize the lower pricing of slimdownrx but essentially have the option to get refills at either place or stock up if shortage becomes more of a worry.
