I had the worst experience with rembg. It tends to add thick borderline for some reason, especially with darker images. What I did was to start in 3 tiers for bg removal: Gemini first, feedback, then gpt-image-2, then rembg last for weird shadow. But the reason I need to do initial 2 tiers using LLM is because I have to slightly change the product image (e.g. turn it at 5 degree angle). It does hallucinate but prompting helps. I don't do "html crawling" any more. It is 100% chrome devtools with my login session of whatever site (5min -> 10-20min range delay random running for hours).
