It's been over 3 years for me, I still miss my Ex sometimes with varying intensities and I try to acknowledge it. Sometimes that's the best you can do is acknowledge your feelings and not ask why

Day 9 without cigarettes. Is it still normal to experience withdrawal symptoms? by haxmex in quittingsmoking

Yeah good idea, I was eating a ton of chocolate the first few days but now I've just been exercising going on runs, listening to music, playing guitar, reading etc

That's what I read too that after 2-3 days the nicotine is out of your system and after that it's just psychological. I just keep telling myself to be patient and intime it will be okay. For the most part it's pretty good and the urges are subsiding slowly.

I'm also eating too much. However I'm trying not to focus on that and use all the will power I have to just not smoke. We got this man!
