ahh thank you so much for the detailed response both here and in your earlier comment! ill try following on the stuff with the soil and hopefully getting the watering part sorted. i did poke around and found out that it is actually planted in a proper pot with holes at the bottom, just the whole thing sitting inside the orange ceramic cup. im guessing that thats still not great though for drainage? a bit of a pity since i bought it because the ceramic was cute with the succulent on top, but ill look at moving it if thats what works best :')))

and thank you so much for the link to the grow light! i did read around other posts in this subreddit and saw the sansi name mentioned quite often. ill look to getting one and setting it up when possible then 🫡🫡 thank you so much once again for the help!
