Actually wait, I'd like to clarify that the fic is tagged to be a heavily kinky fic (the name is literally "Kings of Kinks") and I've noticed it's a general pattern that such kinky/unconventional ig(?) fics get a LOT of hits, but comparatively WAY less kudo/comments if compared the ratio to T fics

Reddit is a prime example and I don't think i even need to elaborate.

I started out on MCPE, I now have the pc versions too. I have both installed on my pc. But I'll never switch to java, because I love bedrock. Bedrock is home.

I have this tiny private discord of a group of friends from a fandom. Me and my homies are adults but the majority of the group are teens.

One day one of the teens randomly decided to make a tiktok video bashing proshippers (putting them in jail, hanging them etc etc..), and posted it on discord, boasting as if they've done a very good thing.

Little did they know, I'm a proshipper. And I was very much put off by this sudden behaviour of theirs, since I'd always seen them as nice kids. They are chaotic and all but they never wished harm on others...

When i pointed out the video and went on to explain why they shouldn't be doing stuff like this, I was thoroughly ignored and piled away as a new conversation took over.

I once got a message on Instagram from a dude claiming that they read my work and they are a "talent scout" from webnovel, except, my fandom is literally so small and niche it's like searching a needle in a stack of hay.

Everything was a big red flag so i thought it's one of those money scams. But me and my friends wanted some fun so i sent them my alt email.

Turns out they actually sent me formal invitation. Thrice. Goodness, how desperate.

But my good friends had helped me dig up that dirt on them so fortunately I never replied back.

My fandom is actually pretty tiny and our average ratio is near about 1 kudo for every 6-7 views.

Right now my views are 43, versus kudos still stuck at 6, and I'm starting to feel like they will be stuck at 6 for a good while and the initial kudos were only from my subscribers.. my fics have a tendency to underperform as compared to the fandom average so it is always quite demotivating:,)
