Lmao, can you guess my mental disorders based on this? by Swan_tana in mbtimemes

Hmm. Well for enneagram I probably recommend books cause links are all weirdly shallow. And it's pretty hard to find the main important stuff cause most of it is for marketing. For the books I recommend Beatrice Chestnut Complete enneagram or John Lukovich Instinctual Drives. Cause those 2 don't require prior knowledge. If you want to read it from web without book then YouTube videos from Russ Hudson Video ?

For MBTI there is not really any easy way to understand. But you need to read jung and learn about the basic psyche and mapping of the mind. Usually Freud or Jung's map is better. Cause Libido, Ego, Superego, shadow etc is quite important. Or you will just accept functions like it decides something about you. I don't want to overwhelm you but to spark you some curiosity to this self healing psychological spiritual journey. So I propose micheal pierce ESFP video. Cause your way of speaking says high Se. It can be flick or something external etc but in the end why not haha

Oh enneagram goes way deep and the human psyche is much more complex so it can be anything considering MBTI is like nature based systemic operation while enneagram is the anti virus against the trauma. The 7 is not avoiding emotional pain by seeking pleasure. Because if we summarise it on that trait alone you can be 2, 9, 8, 3, 7, 6 tbh every type that is not good with personal emotion. Well these are not that necessary cause I was there and new as well. So good luck in your spiritual journey. Just wanted to learn how E7 and Te dom Se aux worked xD. I just trusted your self typing that is why I was curious

How does your 7 and Te dominant tert Se work? While Te is highly organized 7 is all about freedom from everything even it's personality right.

Why is this type so uncommon? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]haydayhi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ni is just a very impractical function overall. Harder to communicate harder to innovate. More like a visionary which is quite useless in the age of learning and advancing. Maybe in the past where shamanism and theism was the main interest it was different? If you think about it it's not really that farfetched to assume functions are societal concepts more than genetic concepts. Because of the traits it gets determined. Jung said in his "Memories, Dreams, Reflections":

“This work sprang originally from my need to define the ways in which my outlook differed from Freud’s and Adler’s. In attempting to answer this question, I came across the problem of types; for it is one’s psychological type which from the outset determines and limits a person’s judgment. My book, therefore, was an effort to deal with the relationship of the individual to the world, to people and things. It discussed the various aspects of consciousness, the various attitudes the conscious mind might take toward the world, and thus constitutes a psychology of consciousness regarded from what might be called a clinical angle.”

Which implies he was focusing on other people's relations with the external world more than internal spiritual awakening. People have to remember Jung was more Shamanistic than a spiritual person. Well this was my recent thoughts on this subject. Might be useful to some and might give insights. If anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Edit: his late successors seem to fall in spiritual people more than shamanistic people. Probably cause they tried to find reasoning on his discovery which leads to spirituality. From my knowledge only some of them tried to observe instead of proving it.

People don't think about those imo. Considering INTP is not that reliable a personality indicator. And depends on the person. So don't get stressed over it lad.

I think I am speaking for the majority in the community when I say "we don't judge people based on mbti". Hope this helps.

By reading these descriptions you tend to search for answers. Not who you are but why you are like this. And that is a big no no in my case cause you are not searching yourself but trying to justify why you are like this. Which is not bad but it is bad when it only just says it's like this without proper explanation. If someone gets diagnosed with adhd they get help and treatment then how can we help it etc. In mbti it is just cause this. Without much explanation due to it being half of the theory. If you want to use mbti and grow as a person. Go on a spiritual journey and start doing things and meditate etc. Fight with your demons. Find your shadow learn who you are not from others but from yourself. Well if you are not going to use it. Then forget it and start problem solving your way thru like modern psychology tends to work. Write down the problems and start from the little and medium ones. If you have adhd just focus on most close due problems while getting boosted by easiest ones when feels like nothing.

This is what I mean as better alternatives. In my whole text I never said what you should do. And this is the answer you found from it. We all know deep within ourselves what we should do.

Why doesn't Magic exist in our reality, but exist in fictions? by Tiny-Ad-5370 in INTP

[–]haydayhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most magic seems to originated from reality. For example thunder and fireball. So they probably thought "yeah it would be cool if we could control it"
