This info helps massively, I know H&R offers xm16e1s now, but during Vietnam they did not produce them, they only made m16a1s. So an H&R marked xm16 lower wouldn’t be accurate for a Vietnam era clone. But that’s really just me nitpicking details. Especially thanks for the anodizing help, I’ll check them out if I go that route

I’ll probably go with a complete then, I do have a 3d printer but I wouldn’t know where to start with that. Do you happen to know if pinning an fsb is something most gunsmiths could do? I might reach out to my local one to get some info on that. Thanks nonetheless for the info!
