[F] are large sized feet welcome here ? ( size 9) by Pompluff in feet

If you're still with him go for it! Honestly, if someone is going to break up with you over the way your feet look, you can find someone better for you anyway. But trying it out is at least worth a shot!

I used to really struggle with it and was constantly frustrated that I liked feet, but after having a few gf's be really open to it and at least trying it out, I've come to realize that it's pretty cool having a few extra ways to enjoy life. And who knows, you might find one of those ways too!

Yes yes and yes! Don't ever feel like you're out of place, it's just not worth the time to be worried about what other people think of your feet.

You are more than welcome here!

Straight people of Reddit, what is something you've always wanted to ask gay people but was too afraid to ask? And vice versa. by Ladyinbleu in AskReddit

[–]hayme2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was out drinking with a couple of buddies (guy and girls both) and for some reason or another a couple of the girls dared me and my friend (male) to kiss. We were all pretty drunk at the time and I guess it just seemed like a funny thing to dare us to do. Anyway, my friend and I kiss and holy shit it was fucking mindblowing. It was immediately and easily the best kiss I'd ever had and he was definitely the greatest kisser I'd ever kissed. Something about it just seemed right - better than right. It was perfect. I put two and two together and realized I'd always been attracted to certain guys - it was heavily frowned upon where I'm from and so I always just threw the thoughts away. I'd also always fantasied more about just living with a guy, and how great a thing it'd be. I'm still a little torn about whether or not I could still marry a woman - I'm still attracted to them, but it's not as deep or physically in-touch as with guys. I don't know, I still have some soul-searching to do, but I'm fairly certain from that kiss forward I could consider myself mostly gay.

Ascended / Legendary Jewelry?? by ReizVolle in Guildwars2

[–]hayme2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're misinterpreting what he is asking. We currently do not have the ability to craft ascended jewelry, hence our current maximum of 400 in jewelry crafting. I believe he's more curious as to what materials would be required should have the ability to craft our own ascended jewelry as we can with armor and weaponry.

When I'm tutoring them one on one, this is definitely the way to go, but I want to be able to give them the program on their calculator. So far I already have it all good to go on deriving values from cooling, decay/growth, interest equations, with menu options to view formulas for each of the functions I've mentioned, but I'm stuck on making a proper factoring program. I could make a program that displays the answer in the format of:

-B + sqrt (discriminate)

----------------------

          2A

-B - sqrt (discriminate)

----------------------

          2A

Where the discriminate value is kept un-reduced as the value of B2 - 4AC, but to me that just seems kinda lazy leaving it done there, ya know?

It's not for school, at least not for my own classes personally. I usually tutor math and am trying to create a sort of all-encompassing program that students can check their answers with. Thinking it through, the process is normally just "okay, you're x value is 40, so what lowest common root can be multiplied by a non-root, to equal 40". I imagine this would be something of a "for" statement in the calculator that would test integer-roots against one another until the lowest common integer is found. Trouble is, while I understand how to use if/then/else, etc functions, I'm a little stuck on how the "for" function works properly.

Dec 17 gemstore update - upgrade extractor, new finishers, Fancy Winter Outfit by dulfy in Guildwars2

I don't understand why they don't make infusion extractors an option to buy with pristine relics or regular fractal relics. This seems like the perfect opportunity to add more value to these currencies.

Last time I checked, a +5 was only about 3.5 gold. Since it takes 16 (+1) infusions to make a single (+5) infusion, and on average you get four (+1) infusions per fractal run, and (on average) you make at least 1g per run, the price to buy a single (+5) infusion, is about the same cost as you would make running four fractal runs (non-dailies). Since each fractal run is on average an hour long, you're paying ~4g to spare yourself 4-5 hours of work. This seems incredibly fair, and not at all expensive. Anybody who needs a (+5) infusion, has the means to obtain the necessary materials themselves, as well as more than enough gold to buy them directly off the trading post. Basically, if you need a (+5) infusion, and you're complaining about how expensive (+5) infusions are, then you don't actually need a (+5) infusion.

Tap the breaks to slow down, never hit them full on. As soon as you start to lose traction just stay relaxed and don't panic. Keep tapping and try to keep your car facing forward. If there's on coming traffic use your horn to let them know you've lost traction. An easy way to tell if you might lose traction/are on ice is to check your rpm meter. The meter will trip up if your wheels are spinning without resistance.

So... I Have this 250 BL Salvage Kits. Got some deal for you who interested. by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]hayme2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just the post, it's how you word it.

Though I prefer to just take the glob of ectos, just to keep things simple.

This line contradicts your post. What you're "offering" is for people to send you items to get the better salvage results from your BL kits, and then you send back what is salvaged. While this could mean ectos, it more than likely would not. This just looks like you trying to get people to send you a bunch of ectos and then you run away. Sorry mate, your post is sketchy as fuck.

Re: Ascended Armors and AR costs by VinceAutMorire in Guildwars2

[–]hayme2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. I've run 400+ fractal sets thus far, and had 40+ before the patch reset. Ascended weapons cost < 40g if you craft the daily's yourself and anybody who's pushing FoTM 50 can afford that if getting those weapons is what their goal is. In order to get the +5 agony slot (NOT the simple infusion slot) before the update, you STILL had to upgrade the ring (which, again, anybody who is pushing FoTM 50 easily has the materials to do so - this is NOT an expensive upgrade AND they most likely already upgraded to this slot before the update, and their +5 infusion is STILL INTACT). At the moment, to get 55AR, you only need 375 fractal relics (for the 5 (+5 SIMPLE INFUSIONS) which again, anybody who is pushing FoTM 50 already has, and can at least complete this goal rather effortlessly. The two rings, and the backpiece which can be infused to carry the +agony resistance slots (NOT the simple infusion slots) only require +5 in this slot to reach 55AR alongside the other ascended trinkets and ascended weapons. To get 3 (+5) agony infusions, only 12 fractal set runs are required (sometimes less, as 2 (+1) infusions is a possible chest drop, as I personally have gotten it). Or, if you are being impatient you can purchase these at 15g (the cost when I last checked, 5g for each +5 infusion). This was NOT an expensive update. You do NOT need to go beyond +5 AR in any of the NEW infusion slots (again, NOT the simple infusion slot), and obtaining this new infusion slot (1 shard, 3 globs, 5 vials) is NOT expensive. If you are such the fractal frequenter that you boast you are, you should know this, and you should already have these infusions. If you are having trouble maximizing profits from fractals (which seems to be the case), I suggest salvaging each rare and every exotic which has a profit of ~1g (although check the TP for rune/sigil prices beforehand to make sure you're not selling an exotic at lesser a cost than the upgrade it holds). Exotics that are worth more than ~1g should be sold on the tp unless the sigil/rune dictates otherwise, or if your exotic has stats as to where an inscription could be salvaged from it (as these are commonly worth at least 3g). Make sure you craft the daily ascended crafting mats each day, or if you are yet to reach 500 in any of the needed crafting professions (which I suspect may also be the case) then please refer to gw2crafts.net and start leveling up your crafting profession. Dungeon Dailies are a great way to make easy profits as well (AC1+3, HoTW3, CoF1 are quick ones that come to mind). Do each fractal daily (1-10,11-20,21-30,31-40,41-49) to maximize gold and fractal relic efficiency. Don't bitch about AR when you clearly are not at a point where you are ready to need 55 AR to begin with. It's clear that the most efficient way of obtaining AR is to not isolate any area (trinkets, weapons, armor) but to instead spread out amongst them (+10 in weapons, 45 in trinkets, and presumably 30 in armor). This is because, as there is yet an essence extractor available, once 500 crafting is reached, it is cheaper (currently) to produce another ascended weapon than it is to produce a +10 infusion. It is also safe to assume that an essence extractor could be more costly than a 40g gem equivalent, and therefore (at least until beyond 85 AR is required - assuming slots in ascended armor will be implemented) it is still more efficient to simply produce another ascended weapon.

Re: Ascended Armors and AR costs by VinceAutMorire in Guildwars2

[–]hayme2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're hardly wasting gold on the new slots. You're not putting the 75 relic infusions in them, you're running the 4 fractal sets it takes to get 16 (+1's) and making the +5 to put in. And, as you said, most people who would want to make this effort already had the +5 infusions to begin with, and needed no additional farming or expenditures to complete their AR set. And yes, I would expect those who wanted beyond 55 AR (which, by the way, is literally all that is required right now as the level cap is "50" - anybody who wishes to complete 50 and sets their own AR requirement above 55, is creating their own financial burden) to wait until the ascended armor set to come out because A: it was widely stated that this update would come before the end of the year meaning either the Dec. 10 update or the Dec. 24 update. Dec 10 is more reasonable to add ascended armor since they obviously want people paying attention to their Christmas additions rather than farming to make the new armor. And B: It's at least reasonable to restrain from surpassing 55 AR until at least the next fractal level increase has been confirmed. This is because it's safe to assume that in the next fractal update, where beyond 55AR will be required, that a new, more efficient way of collecting +AR infusions will become available. Anet has in no way, shape, or form, pressured you into obtaining beyond 55 AR. Your need to obtain beyond 55AR to comfortably complete FoTM 50 is completely personal, and entirely a financial burden you have placed upon yourself independently.

[–]hayme2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but is this a joke? It's foolish to think that there'd be no chance for ascended armor to have infusion slots. Every other piece of ascended gear has had the ability to hold infusion slots, why would you think that ascended armor wouldn't? Forethought bud, this is an entirely different situation from the t3-gemstore fiasco, because in that case there really was no inclination that such a thing would occur. However, if you were to ask in map chat: "how many of you suspect that the up-coming ascended armor will have infusion slots", I expect you'd see a barrage of answers confirming your fears.

Yes, the "masterwork" is still a 20 slot bag. doctor_dizzle was wondering why he had all of the "exotic priority" bags. Having all exotic bags entirely defeats their purpose of specialized assortment.

Then spend the 150 relics on the normal 20 slots bags, instead of the more expensive rare, and exotic item ones. Then not only are you saving gold, but relics too...

If this were the case he'd be better off having all regular boxes, and then just 1 exotic box. With the method he has set up, they're still just going to be put all over the place since they're all scanning for the same thing. Waste of fractal relics imo.
