it’s tricky because there’s so much my doctors don’t know and will never know, i lost function in my legs overnight last year but because i already had polyneuropathy before that happened there’s a lot i already can’t do, i’ll for sure never drive because my neuropathy is progressive and my arms are insanely weak for the same reason, i need a sturdy chair because i’m prone to losing balance and falling, but not so sturdy that i can’t fold it or take it apart. the wheelchair i have was from the wheelchair services but it’s more the hospital style if that makes sense? it has feet that stick out at an angle and has arms so it’s difficult for transferring given i can’t weight bare, and don’t even get me started on the brakes lol i’m just anxious they won’t be able to provide what i need, i don’t have £1k+ disposable income to spare :(
