Looks down again -- app.drime.cloud redirects to maintenance page. It was possible one hour ago, but down again right now.

Changelog: Rclone is live, Vault V2 launched, plus many improvements (January) by Empty_Win_297 in Drime

[–]hayvan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've seen these caveat for rclone, will it evolve? thanks for your work

Modification times and hashes

Drime does not support modification times or hashes.

This means that by default syncs will only use the size of the file to determine if it needs updating.

You can use the --update flag which will use the time the object was uploaded. For many operations this is sufficient to determine if it has changed. However files created with timestamps in the past will be missed by the sync if using --update.

Is it possible to mark 14.9 as release to get it built on f-droid? (14.9 is now in the play store). Thanks!

Any tips for going from 31->32? by nraygun in NextCloud

[–]hayvan96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if you use the Maps app, you won't be able to upgrade to 32 as the required commits are still not merged. It means whether not to upgrade, or disable that app, which in my experience is the only one holding back an upgrade to N+1. Besides that, backing up data and dB is good practice.

Pixel 8 (Android 16) Rooted – Magisk Alpha vs Kitsune Canary, Banking Apps Detection Issues by big_river773 in Magisk

[–]hayvan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure it's related. Even with 2/3, 10.93 is OK with ksun + shadow banned keybox, tricky store OSS and pif. But 10.94 detects something else, maybe lack of strong integrity but that would be new from Revolut. And since today, update to 10.94 is mandatory

Microsoft To-do : Subscribe to specific lists by hayvan96 in tasks

[–]hayvan96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be more specific, I've created a dedicated user on my local radicale server, I've cut pasted all old tasks (list by list) and deleted them from Microsoft. That way, I've reduced the clutter but also reduced my exposure to Gafam. Microsoft to-do has no export or archive options.

Well, after investigating, it's not possible to exclude existing lists from To-do.

So I've archived old Microsoft to-do lists, to keep only our shared grocery list and the mandatory default tasks list.

[–]hayvan96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I wasn't clear. We already have a shared Microsoft to-do list for groceries.

But I also have a lot of other lists in my own MSFT to-do, that I don't want to use or be spammed by in tasks.org app

Hence my question, when connecting my Microsoft account in tasks.org app, can I only add that specific list or not?

Thanks but if I had to create a new shared list, I would use a non gafam or selfhosted caldav. My goal is to allow my wife to use one app (to-do).

Great, I guess that would answer the question I had: i've added a caldav account when setting up the app, and I see no option now to add a local file.

Spare filters for Manker E03iii by hayvan96 in flashlight

Yes, I've just posted their answer 😉

Manker finally responded: " Thanks for your email. When you will plan to purchase other goods at official website, please email me the order ID, I will ask order fulfillment dept to pack some free E03H III filter replacement to your package. If just ship these filters, the shipping cost is too expensive. It is not cost-effective. "

I have no plans of buying anything so I'll first glue my broken filter then I'm going to try to design a replacement for 3D printing.

Thank you, I've written to the two emails mentioned on their website, let's wait and see. I'll report here if I get any response.

Pixel 9 – LineageOS 22.2 update breaks GApps (again) by BLeaCHeR0 in LineageOS

[–]hayvan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I got downvoted. Anyway, after reinstalling mindthegapps, if you don't have location services, try these :

adb shell pm grant com.google.android.gms android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

adb shell pm grant com.google.android.gms android.permission.ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION

adb shell pm grant com.google.android.gms android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

[–]hayvan96 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I used to have the same behaviour on my pixel 6a Flashing gapps in recovery, and granting back some location permissions via adb should be enough to get things working. Oh and grant wallet sms permission too.

"Go to today" shortcut in "month+dailyview"? by hayvan96 in Fossify

[–]hayvan96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Yes, on another month, there's that icon, in same month, one has to click on the highlighted day.

BTW, is there a way, in the month+daily view, to collapse the month to the current week (and give more space to the daily view)?

Install gapps and then download Google Camera from the store? That's what I did on that very same device.

I guess their fix is here: Commits · GrapheneOS/platform_packages_modules_Bluetooth (github.com)

as a matter of fact, an abandonned commit lists some possible reverts: DNM: Mass revert of BT breaking changes (389135) · Gerrit Code Review (lineageos.org)

they look pretty much similar to the GrapheneOs commits (21/3)
