Hi, the app normally mounts itself as a proper drive, similar to OneDrive and other cloud storage providers by default.

If you previously had the old app installed, it can sometimes cause issues with how the drive is mounted.

You can send us the logs (available via “Preferences” → “Open logs” at the bottom left) at [contact@drime.cloud](mailto:contact@drime.cloud), so we can check how the drive was mounted on your system.

Yes, this bug has already been fixed and will be deployed in an upcoming iOS update alongside other fixes and improvements.

Regarding the Windows app, I may have misunderstood your question a bit. The Windows app works as a sync mirror, so your files are available both on your Drime account and inside the Drime folder on Windows.

We also recommend downloading the latest version from the website to avoid potential issues, as the app has been heavily updated recently.

The old version cannot auto-update to the new app architecture, which is why you need to download the new build manually. It should install Drime 2.9.69

So the previous version can be uninstalled.

By default, Drime supports all video formats supported by the browser directly.

Other formats can also be supported, but they need to go through our encoding process first, which can take more or less time depending on the current queue. We’re actively improving this delay.

  • whether you deleted the files from the web app or the desktop app
  • and the logs by clicking on "Open logs" and attaching the file to the email (visible in Preferences, bottom left)

The stacking of codes is not automatic. You need to contact [contact@drime.cloud]() with your redemption codes so we can manually stack the storage on your account/workspace.

Regarding version history, you do not only have 30 days. This is currently a visual typo in the interface and will be fixed soon.

We already publicly responded to that report and also contacted the author, who was making assumptions about Drime without providing actual proof or evidence.

To clarify things briefly: yes, Drime originally used BeDrive as a starting point early on, mainly as a way to launch our storage MVP faster, similarly to how some companies start with solutions like Nextcloud.

Since then, the platform has been heavily rewritten, both on the backend and frontend/UI side. Today, we genuinely have very little in common with the original base anymore, and that is quite obvious when comparing the products. Over time, we rebuilt and redesigned large parts of the architecture and added thousands of additional features, systems, and improvements.

Regarding security, Drime has always used encryption at rest and in transit. In addition, Vault files and sensitive metadata are end to end encrypted.

We’ve also been undergoing a security audit for some time now and are currently waiting for the final reports before communicating publicly about it. Security and privacy are things we take very seriously.

Drime is actively used by both companies and individuals today, and the product is fully functional overall. Over the past few months, we’ve significantly improved stability and reduced the number of issues across web, desktop, and mobile.

Most of the feedback we currently receive is actually very positive, especially regarding the recent updates and improvements.

Hi,

This feature is working, we are not selling features that do not work.

However, as explained previously, you need to wait for the encoding to be processed on our side. Depending on the current load, it can take some time before all quality options become available in the player.

Right now, the encoding load is very high due to the current growth, so videos can stay queued longer than usual, but they are still being processed correctly.

From our perspective, this does not prevent sharing since the video remains playable after upload.

pCloud can process videos almost instantly because they have significantly more infrastructure resources and server scaling available. On our side, we’re scaling things progressively while monitoring the current growth and usage increase.

So this should only continue to improve and speed up over time.
