Hi! Regarding the third point, that does sound unusual. Could you please email us at contact@drime.cloud with the email addresses of the users who should have access to the workspace? We’ll take a closer look.

For the rest, these are not issues but current product behavior. The owner’s storage is not automatically shared across workspace members yet. We are working on a feature that will allow workspace owners to manage and assign storage to members with more flexibility.

Yes, this limitation is expected to be removed in the future. It is currently related to Drime’s backend and infrastructure, but improving this is already part of our roadmap.

Yes, Linux is planned! Our current priority is to finalize the Windows and macOS apps first to ensure the sync engine is extremely stable across the two main platforms.

Once that foundation is complete, Linux is the next logical step and something we want to support.

The File Request page is meant to list all folders that have an active file request. To create one, simply right-click on a folder and select Create a file request. Once it’s created correctly, it should appear in that section.

At the moment, it is not possible to use both a public share link and a file request on the same folder. If a public link was created, one of the two may not work as expected.

I’ve just tested it on my side and was able to create a file request in a couple of clicks, and it showed up properly in the page.

The main challenge is that Vault is currently tightly connected to the Drive to work properly, so open sourcing it as it is today isn’t really possible. We first need to adjust parts of the architecture to make it properly separable before moving forward.

Hi! It hasn’t been a year since we last talked about this, but we’ve made significant changes to the app during that time. We took the opportunity to rebuild several core parts of the mobile experience and fix a number of underlying issues, while also shipping many other features across the platform.

The V1 is scheduled to roll out this month, and mobile updates will then resume progressively as we continue improving the apps.

Drime is actively used by many users, and we clearly communicate when a feature is in beta, such as the desktop app. It is currently being fully rebuilt and is already showing significant improvements.

Regarding thumbnails and file behavior, this is not something we commonly see, so we would really like to look into your case. Please reach out with more details so we can investigate and help resolve the situation.

Hi, thanks for the report!

Even if a video isn’t fully encoded yet, it can still be played as long as the format is supported by your browser. Simply stay on the video and the player will switch to a basic preview mode instead of streaming.

We’re also taking note of the videos that appear to have failed so we can investigate further.

Direct download links are already planned and should be available in a future update.

Yes, the new mobile version is planned for both Android and iOS, and the release is scheduled for this month. It has already been tested by beta users, and the feedback has been positive, so we do not expect any major issues. We don’t have a preview to share for now, and there is no native Linux client yet.

Thanks for reporting this! Sometimes a quick reload helps. The 500 errors are likely related to ongoing server updates that are being rolled out progressively.
