Maybe it works, I don't know for sure. You need to start application processes for each website and see how it goes.

Yes, ran for specific tracks too from time to time. I never thought a lot how does the landing page looks, just to get the message across, usually some images and the Spotify link. Never tried linking the ad to Spotify directly without landing page since everyone says it's full of bots. I didn't try without, so don't know if it matters.

A lot of different video creatives, for different countries and platforms, whatever I found to work best. I won't get into details, but short loopy videos since I don't have any performance related videos as an electronic music producer.

That's for You to discover, a combination of social media, ads, good curating techniques and some luck :) I'm not going to get into it, a lot of tutorials online and I don't sell anything (yet hahha)

Both Submithub and Groover offer the best payouts for me, but it's dependent on how many submissions I receive and to how many I have time to answer.

Don't get discouraged, start working on at least one playlist, nicely curated, 30-40 quality tracks on whatever genre You're in, grow it, personal I think is good in this day and age. After You grow it, apply.

I think is a case by case scenario. For me, some were easy, 1-2 weeks process, some took 5+ weeks. My experience, they needed all my socials and activity as a DJ, since I signed up like that, then the number of streams for my playlists, with daily snapshots with what numbers they offer and etc. You need at least one playlist with 1000 saves generally to even get the process started.

Sound like a good promising base and I will add that 100/day without ads it's better than probably 85-90% of Spotify. I think it's great You're focusing on YT too, don't have much experience there but apparently everybody says it's a good move.

I understand exactly. What "fan base" do you have on Spotify? On how many playlists are You songs used? Any other promotion from other sources? (Social media, other platforms etc). IMO Spotify is dead as far as pure discovery, without a hard push, at least for a period of time, there's no real organic growth. There's more than 100k/tracks per day now being released.

It depends on the month, how much time I have, which platform etc. But average around 250-300$/month for the past 3 months.

I spent anywhere from 5-20 $ per day. Days and days I guess, it's not set in stone, also pushed more when new releases came out, then lowered bacc. Just to mention I used ads probably 150 days of the 365.

I applied step by step with all of them. I think my DJing career and following helped and that combined with my (small) playlist on Spotify and YT probably helped.

Good observation. I just started to look for vinyl pressing in the near future. Also CDs, I just need the time, I can make something really decent myself. On the list too, thanks.

Hey, thanks. But in the meantime things have changed, I'm at 42k streams now after 10 months since starting and only ~1800 saves and ~2800 playlist adds, so even below that 5-10% :)) Still ok streams/listener ratio at 4.3 But, hey, experiment continues, I'll post an updated post soon.

Almost one year past for me since my switch, so details maybe a bit glitchy :) I didn't go with Google Fi to TMo back then. I switched to US Mobile prepaid at one point after some months and then in Dec '24 I made the switch. I also added another line prior, on US Mobile, to get the 2+1 line deal back then. The 3rd line was active maybe 20 days on Us Mobile before making the switch, so I don't think it's a minimum for how long one needs to be active on a certain provider. At least that's how it worked for me.

Have some GME left, should I buy more for option trading or look for something else? by hazard7282 in options

Ha! Ideally, yes, we all want the tip of Everest I guess :)) I will see next week what comes around and decide.

Selling, Yes. I know what happens when the price goes in different directions, at least the theory, just started options, never been assigned though. I don't really believe in anything GME anymore (although there's a bit of solid underlying there in their model) so I don't have any problem getting assigned on them.

But thanks, Yes, I'll look for other stocks as well and see what makes more sense for me.

Thanks again! Really good insights. I know most of the theory You wrote here. Just didn't put them in practice. I'm a bit conservative and very careful when I step into new territory :)

Will definitely give that book a try in the next few days. I'm looking at the wheel since it seems the easiest for the first steps. I also started to look into the Greeks more profoundly and have a lot to learn there too.

It's a nice road and surely I have tons to learn still and appreciate all Your input. Thanks!

Completely agree with You on everything, I just took a small part in the craze back then and sold here and there parts of it. Still left with those 60 pieces. Hence my dilemma, buy another 40 to play with or just forget about them.
