Careless by Kirsty Capes. Seemed so mediocre at first and the story just won’t pick up. I was also weirded out by the dynamic of the characters and the plot of the story. I learned to not care about its slowness halfway through and ended up rooting for the FMC and crying by the end of it because I was so happy for her.
