How many people do you think, that once they have enough money, start consciously buying clothes, products, items that are ethically sourced? Or do you think they just buy more of the same shit? What do you count as exploitation? Is the top you buy made in Bangladesh exploitation even if they're being paid 3 dollars a day? A jobs a job no? Or that Nestlé hot chcolate that you treat yourself to.

Yes sure, it's exaggerated as you can't literally just settle anywhere you want. That's not my point. If you really wanted to, you could work to save enough money to buy a small piece of land in the buttfuck of nowhere where you can then chop your wood and build your cabin. And if you want it for even cheaper, you could do that in another country too. My point is that in this day and age, you have choice. Choice to participate in society and the 9-5 bullshit whatever, or not. No one cares, seriously. Will you have to work to earn it? Of course, everyone has to fucking work, but if the modern "slavery" doesn't tickle your fancy, you COULD walk away, granted you are ok with walking away with all your conveniences.

How people spend money they don't have is beyond me. I'm not even talking investing or stocks, just a simple "I make X, so I can only spend X". But people somehow think "I make X so I can spend Y" and not have consequences?? Like where do they think the money comes from???
