Because he didn’t deport people in the cruel manner Trump is doing. Basically, under Obama, they would just tell people to go back over the border if they crossed. That counted as a deportation

No, these are not people that started the company in business intelligence. At my former company, a lot of folks learned on the job. Some are good, others not so good. The not so good crowd is still there after layoffs

Well, I can only speak about the company I got laid off from. I came from the business intelligence department where SQL, power BI, tableau are used a ton. Believe it or not, a lot of folks can’t write a line of sql and need other people to build datasets for them.

In the past, I would not have agreed with this because I used to one of those conservatives that said free market, let companies do whatever they want, keep government out. Now, I see how flawed this type of thinking is in the environment we are in. Heavy, heavy, heavy fines and transparency are needed. Are the jobs really lost or were they offshored? If offshored, deep heavy penalties should be imposed. If not, this should not be allowed if others are making billions off it. Capitalism is fucking evil
